The Missing "How Not to Act" Instructions for Airline Passengers

We have all been there. Flying can be frustrating and our fellow passengers often just make things worse. What we need are “safety instructions,” not just for staying physically safe, but staying mentally safe. What you will find below are airline flight behaviors rated from most (1) to least (12) acceptable. I am sure I missed a few, so be sure to add your suggestions in the comments.

First off, we have the most reasonable thing that you could possibly do. I know it is asking a lot, but please try.

 

While we all enjoy classic stories, your life story isn’t one of them.

 

You know what they say: cleanliness is next to godliness…especially at 30,000 feet.

 

Really, people…windows are not toys.

 

Just because YOU are calm, doesn’t mean your fellow passengers will feel better about it.

 

I’ll admit it…I’m guilty of this one.

I get it. Some of us get motion sickness. But that is no excuse for missing the bag.

 

There is a tipping point with sleeping medication where you go from being tired and relaxed, to being completely convinced you need to return a ring to Mordor.

 

Pro tip: you both lose.
