Top Baby Names of 2015 Are Here!

If you’re expecting a baby, one of the biggest decisions you’ll make is your little one’s name. So do you look to the baby name lists and books to find something that’s popular or do you go off on your own? The Social Security Administration just released its annual list of the country’s most popular baby names. The agency collects the names from parents who register their children after birth, so it is one of the most accurate indicators of what’s popular across the nation. If you want to avoid your child having five friends in her class with the same name, it might be helpful to avoid options on these lists altogether.

Of course, pop culture often has a lot to do with the popularity of names. We went through our fair share of Britneys and Bellas in the past. Charlotte recently saw a spike thanks to the birth of Princess Charlotte, and Harper is now on the list of top 10, thanks to Harper Lee’s recently published Go Set a Watchman. As for the boys, Noah topped the charts in 2015 for the third year in a row, while other classics like James and Alexander hung out in the top.

Which of these would you choose for your little one?
