A while back someone asked me what I thought was the nation's biggest problem, to which I responded, "Fake news and the people who lap it up."
Though that may have been the situation back then, I portend the order has since been switched.
I believe the demand for lies today, especially by the hate-obsessed, pink-haired harpies on the left and their hirsute, razor-dodging girlfriends is such that the talentless media hacks in the Pravda press are working overtime to produce an adequate supply of frequently inane disinformation.
If only we had known about the magick powers that a 24/7 production line of lies would have on Americans.
Oh wait, we did know. KGB Defector Yuri Bezmenov told us, ironically, in 1984.
As I mentioned before, exposure to true information does not matter anymore. A person who was demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures; even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camp, he will refuse to believe it, until he receives a kick in his fan-bottom. When a military boot crashes his balls then he will understand. But not before that. That’s the tragedy of the situation of demoralization.
What did Bezmenov mean by "demoralized"?
What it basically means is, to change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.
This is likely how the nation-hating leftists got their opinions.
I will also add that, as a former New York City lib, the left "love bombs" their people into obeisance while also threatening to banish them to the cornfield if they dare disagree on even a single talking point. So, when the Marxists tell their minions that a man is a woman if he says so, the average progressive bends zher knee and asks for the dudette's pronouns.
I know people have been successfully "demoralized."
I know two leftists who truly believe Trump told the nation to take "horse pills" to fight COVID, not realizing ivermectin was approved for human consumption in the 1980s.
One of my leftoid friends, who also thought ivermectin was "horse paste" posted this on Friday, in regards to the Supreme Court allowing mifepristone to remain available;

He obviously thought the Supreme Court put an end to abortion. I assuaged him with a comforting article proving there were more abortions after the Supreme Court ended Roe v. Wade and kicked the decision to the states.
I also added, "Aren't you the guy who claimed that Trump said to eat horse medicine?" Crickets.

Another friend defiantly stated that Critical Race Theory (CRT) isn't being taught in schools and refused to believe this article from Just the News where the Detroit Public Schools District General Superintendent, Nikolai Vitti, admitted the Marxist CRT curriculum was being pushed pretty hard.
"Our curriculum is deeply using critical race theory, especially in social studies, but you’ll find it in English language arts and the other disciplines," Vitti stated. "Students need to understand the truth of history, understand the history of this country, to understand better who they are and about the injustices that have occurred in this country."
He countered with an article called Critical Race Theory isn’t taught in Michigan but does play a role in how teachers think about equality. He clearly didn't read the first paragraph:

Apparently, that commie rag missed where Vitti said, "Our curriculum is deeply using critical race theory."
My point is that the leftist will ignore facts, as predicted by Yuri Bezmenov.
Now that the Trump tsunami is hoovering up black and Hispanic votes from the Democrats—and Joe Biden looks more and more like a background extra from The Walking Dead—we can expect the fake news-industrial complex to go into war production mode and mass produce more of Trump's mythical "racism."
