Moms, You're Going to LOVE What Chick-fil-A Just Did to Make Your Lives Easier

With a new service, being rolled out at selected restaurants, chicken chain Chick-Fil-A is looking to attract families with young children.

As part of “Mom’s Valet”—dads can use it too, along with grandparents, etc.,—customers with children can order through the drive-thru, then take the family into the restaurant, where a Chick-Fil-A employee will have a table ready for them.

There’ll be as many highchairs as necessary on hand, along with table service.

From Business Insider:

The restaurant came up with the idea after noticing how hectic ordering could be for parents of young children, David Farmer, Chick-fil-A’s vice president of menu strategy and development, told Business Insider.

Many of the mothers taking their kids to Chick-fil-A are millennials — 18- to 35-year-old consumers who fast-food chains from McDonald’s to Wendy’s are trying to attract.

Parents are often seen in the restaurants’ lines wrangling their kids, trying either to hold them or to prevent them from wandering around the restaurant. The chain hopes that Mom’s Valet will help parents avoid all that.

According to a story at FoxNews.com, “Mom’s Valet” is offered at roughly 100 of the chain’s 2,000 restaurants. Participating outlets will post a sign announcing the availability at the drive-thru.
