The ACLU wants you to sign a pledge showing support for your neighbor’s son to have the right to dominate your daughter in sports:
I support Andraya Yearwood and Terry Miller – and all transgender people who have the right to live as their authentic selves, including in sports.
How woke of them. Actually, we’re moving faster and faster into the stage of woke that makes self-identity (feelings) sacred and untouchable, if we’re not already there, that is. If you feel like a girl, Mrs. 40-year-old man, then you have the right to use the women’s changing room at your local pool. If you feel like a female, Mrs. male weightlifter, then you have the right to steal medals from actual female weightlifters who’ve worked hard to rise to the top of their sport. And if anyone calls into question your “right,” the ACLU has your hairy, muscular back — of course, since you feel like a woman, you also have the right to force women to wax whatever body parts you like. It’s great to be a Mrs. man!
Let’s make this loud and clear: Transgender people have the right to participate in sports consistent with who we are. https://t.co/ZXAw1af62l

With their pledge, the ACLU claims, “Transgender people have the right to participate in sports consistent with who they are, just like anyone. Denying this right is pure discrimination.” Taking it a step further, they add:
The marginalization of trans student-athletes is rooted in the same kind of gender discrimination and stereotyping that has held back cisgender women athletes. Transgender girls are often told that they are not girls (and conversely transgender boys are told they are not really boys) based on inaccurate stereotypes about biology, athleticism, and gender. As a result, transgender athletes – particularly Black transgender women – face systemic barriers to participation in athletics and all aspects of public life.
That’s right, cisgender women, the ACLU wants you to know that allowing biological males to take your spots on teams, shatter your world records, and hog all the medals is for your good. After all, that Mrs. man standing on the podium is your sister. His success is your success, proving that men make better women than women do.
Thankfully, not everyone has bowed to the ridiculous god of self-identity. Acclaimed feminist and tennis star Martina Navratilova responded to the ACLU on twitter and asked the valid and needed question: “So self ID is all it takes for you? Really?”

New Zealand rugby advocate Daniel Leo cheered Martina on with a tweet of his own in which he pointed out, “Unbelievable that we live in a world that prioritizes Self ID/feelings above science & protection of female rights and safety.” He added the poignant insight, “Male privilege at its finest.”
All of this comes on the heels of new research conducted by the University of Otago in New Zealand. The report, which was released earlier this month, explains:
Science demonstrates that high adult levels of testosterone, as well as permanent testosterone effects on male physiology during in utero and early development, provides a performance advantage in sport and that much of this male physiology is not mitigated by the transition to a transwoman.
In a Reuters article, one transgender athlete dismissed the researchers’ findings with the nonsensical claim, “The opinions of scientists although valid, are just that, opinions.”
Opinions?
This is the world we live in now: Feelings are prioritized over facts, and peer-reviewed scientific research is an opinion. Well, I’m of the opinion that this is all going to end badly, and I feel that we should reverse course before it’s too late. However, since my opinions and feelings don’t submit to the transgender patriarchy, the ACLU will more likely work to have me banned from any and all public spaces than they will to defend my opinions and feelings. Sorry, ladies, unless this madness is stopped, eventually there will be no one left to defend you from the Mrs. men who are replacing you at an increasing pace.
