Feminist icon and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has heaped praise on the Court’s newest justice, Brett Kavanaugh, for his staffing decisions. You remember Kavanaugh, right? The man whom feminists labeled dangerous to women? The social pariah, who was publicly excoriated by a mob of rhetorical-pitchfork- and torch-wielding social justice warriors angered over the fact that such a woman-hating man was nominated for a position on SCOTUS. That’s right, the man who was feminists’ enemy #2 (behind President Trump, of course) has earned the high praise of the feminist goddess Ginsburg.
While speaking at Georgetown Law School, Ginsburg touted her own feminist credentials in the fight for gender equality. Transitioning to thankfulness that for the first time in the Court’s history, this upcoming term will feature more female clerks than male clerks, she then added, “and it’s thanks to our new Justice Kavanaugh.”
Whoah!
Feminist heads must be exploding at the existential tension currently straining their feminist craniums. How to synthesize their adoration and worship of Ginsburg with their unadulterated hatred of Kavanaugh in the face of Ginsburg’s praise of the man?
However, this isn’t the first time that Ginsburg has praised Kavanaugh for his forward-thinking on the hiring of women. Earlier this June, while speaking to a group of judges in New York, the second female to serve as a Supreme Court Justice said basically the same thing about Kavanaugh.
Anyone who followed the kangaroo court called Kavanaugh’s nomination isn’t surprised that he has hired only females as his clerks. He promised to do so back in September when many leftists were hoping that Antifa would do something violent to him and his family.
However, surprising and saddening many conservatives, Kavanaugh has proven himself very willing to side with his liberal colleagues on a variety of decisions — for example, against Apple and for Planned Parenthood.
Frankly, I don’t care about the gender of the man’s clerks as long as they’re qualified. I do care, though, about his propensity to side against conservatives, especially the decisions for Planned Parenthood. If Brett Kavanaugh keeps this up, he’ll find himself no longer a feminist pariah and instead find himself as the recipient of Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award. What a turn of historical events that would be.
