FCC Chairman Kevin Martin has pulled today’s scheduled vote on the restructuring of intercarrier connection compensation. With pressure coming from all sides to postpone action regarding the fee structure that carriers charge each other, Martin tabled any action, leaving the problem to a newly configured post-election commission.

The commission has a full plate today with decisions expected in the TV “whait space” fight, and a review of deals between Verizon and Alltel, and Sprint and Clearwire. Both are multi-billion dollar ventures that will change the wireless landscape dramatically.
