Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore was found dead in a hotel room in Southern Spain, according to London newspaper The Guardian.
The cause of death has not been determined. Moore was 58.
At least in America, as a solo artist Moore was better known to rock musicians than the general public; given the instrument he’s most associated with, they’re in mourning at the Les Paul Guitar Internet forum right now.
