For the past several months I guess, blogger Jimmie Bise has had an elegantly simple idea for a recurring blog post titled “Clearing the Browser Tabs.” Considering how many tabs in Firefox I invariably have open with plans to link to an item eventually, this seems like an excellent way to both restore some much needed RAM, and get a few links into circulation.
See if you can spot what ties these stories together:
- JammieWearingFool: “NY Gov. David Paterson: Public Pension Funds Are About to Implode…And On That Note, I Am Outta Here!”
- Big Government: “NYC union leaders should be charged with negligent homicide.”
- Tom Blumer, Newsbusters: “NYC Sanitation Workers Absenteeism Double the Norm, As Union Head Says ‘You Can Never Count on the Privates.'”
- The Philadelphia Examiner: “Happy New Year, Philly! (Oh…. and we’re going broke!)”
- Director Blue: “Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) doing the work Democrats won’t do: sounding the public pension crisis alarm and protecting taxpayers.”
- The Belmont Club: Europe’s “Voyage of the Doomed.”
- Slublog at Ace of Spades HQ: “Hawaii $1.5M-O: How much does Obama’s vacation cost? Short answer — a lot.”
Oh and speaking of Jimmie, as he notes in the latest edition of his Clearing the Browser Tabs feature, “Yes, folks, Socialism really does stink in the end.”
