Mr. Farrakhan's Neighborhood

Even as the left flip-flops from portraying the Tea Parties as a hive of rebel scum and villainy, to caricaturing them as blue blood elites almost as tawny as John Kerry himself, President Obama has emerged from a neighborhood in Chicago that takes David Brooks’ Bourgeois-Bohemian synthesis to its very zenith:

When you look at a map of the Hyde Park area, you see Louis Farrakhan, the Obama/Rezko Mansion, and the William Ayers residence in very close proximity to one another…about as close to each other as The Gap, Banana Republic, and Express are to each other in a typical suburban mall.

It’s a shame Saturday Night Live would likely never touch this, as the comedy routines write themselves.
