To expand upon on the link at the end of our previous post to So It Goes In Shreveport on “Reframing 9/11”, Stop the ACLU writes, “Obama Campaign Organization Plans 9/11 Event to Fight ‘Right Wing Domestic Terrorists'”, also linking to this item by the Heritage Foundation:
Today, President Obama’s campaign organization “Organizing for America” sent out a notice to its “grassroots” supporters. It asked them to wage a coordinated phone campaign for health care by calling their U.S. Senators on September 11 – also known as Patriot Day in honor of the thousands of Americans killed by Al Qaeda terrorists eight years ago. It goes on: “All 50 States are coordinating in this – as we fight back against our own Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists who are subverting the American Democratic Process, whipped to a frenzy by their Fox Propaganda Network ceaselessly re-seizing power for their treacherous leaders.” Please read that again.
Huh. Curious that that an Obama Website uses languages that conflates politics and warfare. Didn’t see that coming! In any case, click over to either site for the screen capture.
The post [on the Obama Website] has been scrubbed now, but don’t let the liberals live this one down. This event was planned for all 50 states. Its a shame they are exploiting 9-11 for lobbying, and even more sickening they have forgotten what the day means. They have compared their political enemy to their real enemy….on the anniversary of the day their real enemies attacked our Nation no less. Think the MSM will report this outrage? Don’t bet on it.
At the Website of the afore mentioned “Fox Propaganda Network”, Kevin McCullough ponders “Why the Obama Administration Will Implode In Weeks.” Perhaps that’s a might hyperbolic, though nowhere near as incendiary as the meltdown language coming from the Obama administration/perpetual campaign itself.
So why the hysterical tone? Check out this snapshot of Team Obama at the center-left Politico Website:
Aides to President Barack Obama are putting the final touches on a new strategy to help Democrats recover from a brutal August recess by specifying what Obama wants to see in a compromise health care deal and directly confronting other trouble spots, West Wing officials tell POLITICO.
Obama is considering detailing his health-care demands in a major speech as soon as next week, when Congress returns from the August recess. And although House leaders have said their members will demand the inclusion of a public insurance option, Obama has no plans to insist on it himself, the officials said.
More: “Yesterday’s Gone”, Rich Galen writes, adding, “So, how to best celebrate the end of Summer? Let’s look at Barack Obama’s poll numbers!”
Update: The Rhetorican believes that removing the public option “is a nice chess move from Obama and his team”, but adds, “If Obama said ‘I will veto any bill that includes a public option’, that would be something else entirely. But he hasn’t and he won’t.”
