Having been there last week to visit relatives and friends in the area, I agree. Nina and I met a friend for dinner Friday night in lower Manhattan, and all of us felt slightly spooked when we looked out of an 11th story window and saw a low-flying plane or helicopter orbiting the night skies several times.

Of course, it was nothing. But how many people, on the morning of September 11th, 2001 watched a low-flying plane and thought, “of course, it’s nothing”?
