Past performance is no guarantee of future results:
“I’m not ready to surrender the point that what Sarah Palin did by putting crosshairs over congressional districts was a good and innocent thing to do.”
— Roger Simon* of the Politico, January 9th, 2011. (Curiously, Simon didn’t scold his fellow Democrats for their own target imagery during that same period.)
“Question: If Ted Cruz and John Boehner were both on a sinking ship, who would be saved? Answer: America. Harsh? Look around you at what is happening to America and you will see harsh.”
— Roger Simon* in his Politico column, today. (Link safe, goes to Twitchy post titled,”Douchetastic: Roger Simon says America would be ‘saved’ if Cruz, Boehner drowned.”)
Incidentally, Simon’s column is titled “Government shutdown releases racism” yesterday at the Million Vets March protest. He earlier tweeted, “Racism comes out of closet (as if it were ever in) as protesters hoist Confederate flag outside WH today.” Note how one moronic protestor with a Confederate flag become plural, and a vehicle to smear all vets as racists. Hey, I’ve made my share of Obama as Nixon cracks, but I didn’t realize the MSM was as equally trapped in 1970-era thinking as Mr. Obama.
As Stephen Kruiser tweeted in response to the veteran Politico columnist’s smear:
Yes, yes he is. RT @ExJon: .@politicoroger Are you calling all the veterans racist?

Curious; when did the John F Kennedy wing of the Democratic party get taken over by the Lee Harvey Oswald wing? @politicoroger

I’d say sometime around 1968, myself.
