Dr. Tom Johnson and his associates at the University of Texas at Austin and University of Tennessee at Knoxville are conducting their seventh online survey to investigate the users and uses of online sources of political information. They say that they are “particularly interested in comparing politically oriented websites, blogs, social media sites, Twitter, and YouTube to traditional broadcast and print media.”
