Former Trump adviser Roger Stone left the courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, amid a cacophony of cheers and jeers following his indictment Friday as part of the Mueller probe. The longtime political operative flashed the “V” sign, made famous by President Richard Nixon, as left-wing activists booed and chanted “lock him up!”
Stone managed to keep his wits about him despite the cacophony, saying: “After a two-year inquisition, the charges today relate in no way to Russian collusion, WikiLeaks collaboration, or any other illegal act in connection with the 2016 campaign. I am falsely accused of making false statements during my testimony to the House Intelligence Committee, but that is incorrect. Any error I made in my testimony would be both immaterial and without intent.”
Stone was arrested by the FBI in an aggressive pre-dawn raid at his home in Fort Lauderdale on a seven-count indictment.
A dozen heavily armed officers were involved in the arrest of the 66-year-old.
In a tweet following the raid, President Trump lashed out at Mueller on Twitter, once again calling his investigation a “witch hunt,” and saying “Border Coyotes, Drug Dealers and Human Traffickers are treated better.”
Greatest Witch Hunt in the History of our Country! NO COLLUSION! Border Coyotes, Drug Dealers and Human Traffickers are treated better. Who alerted CNN to be there?

Stone is charged with one count of obstructing an official proceeding, five counts of making false statements, and one count of witness tampering.
