The bright idea of a fifth-grader caught the attention of Elon Musk, the charismatic CEO of Tesla, Inc., and now her vision for marketing Tesla electric vehicles may soon come to fruition. Tesla specializes in electric cars, batteries and solar power.
Bria, the innovative ten-year-old from Michigan, suggested in a letter that the notoriously ad-averse tech firm hold a contest for fans to make their own Tesla commercials. She wrote the letter to Musk as part of a class project.
Bria wrote: “I have noticed that you do not advertise, but many people make homemade commercials for Telsa and some of them are very good…I think that you should run a competition on who can make the best homemade Tesla commercial and the winners will get their commercial aired.”
She added: “You could give the winners a year of free Supercharging or a Model 3 Easter Egg or something.”
Her father posted her letter onto Twitter and the clearly impressed Musk responded late Wednesday night.
@elonmusk Elon, my daughter wrote you a letter for a school project. She mailed it to Tesla, but I figured I'd paste here. Thank you! pic.twitter.com/ntGEL9WCh3
