With Halloween just a few days away, the creepy clown epidemic is reaching a fever pitch — especially in Tennessee. In one of this year’s craziest clown sightings, a partially nude, intoxicated female clown got herself into a spot of bother with the police after she chased cars and jumped in and out of traffic on a country road in Montgomery County.
If ever there were a case of someone hitting rock bottom, this might be it…

Candice A. Kreidel, 37, was charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication and making non-emergency 911 calls.
According to an arrest warrant, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene after “a series of calls about a white female wearing clown-like makeup, a stocking cap, and was either partially or completely nude that was running up and down Louise Road, chasing cars and jumping out in front of other cars.”
While a deputy was on the way to the scene, 911 received four calls from Kreidel “in which call takers were berated, threatened and cursed,” the warrant states.
When the deputy went to Kreidel’s home on Louise Road, he found her in a sports bra, pajama-style bottoms, a stocking cap and wearing clown makeup on her face and body. She was also holding a beer.
Kreidel first denied being on the road but later admitted she had been running up and down the road in traffic, the warrant states.
When asked why she called 911 and berated dispatchers, she said it was because “they need to do their jobs.”
Kreidel was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on $1,500 bond. Sorry, there’s no video for this one, but we do have her mugshot:
After an unfortunate incident in Stockton, Calif., a local prankster decided to hang up his clown suit for good after his clown prank went horribly wrong.

Sadiq Mohammad, 20, is a professional prankster whose entertainment videos are viewed by 6.7 million people daily on his Instagram account and website, Hoodclips.
“The numbers don’t lie, people love comedy,” Mohammad said. “That’s why I have a lot of followers.”
But, his latest stunt could have been his last. Mohammad was in Stockton last week and scaring people while dressed as a clown. His cameraman was there to capture all the screams.
Then, Mohammad came up on one man and tried to scare him. Instead, the man pulled a gun on him and pistol-whipped him. In the video, Mohammad falls to the ground then runs away. His cameraman also ran away.
Moral of the story? “People don’t play with the clown stuff,” said Mohammad. “Like, people really will shoot anybody.”
A Sacramento attorney said people have the right to defend themselves using reasonable force if they feel threatened but “it’s probably not reasonable to pull a gun (in this case).” That’s because the clown explained that it was only a prank. Although it looks like he was assaulted, neither Mohammad nor his cameraman filed a report with the Stockton Police Department.

In Providence, Rhode Island, a woman successfully fought off an invasion of three creepy clowns in her apartment building. That’s one woman versus three clowns — and one of them was packing.
The local media dubbed 25-year-old Damaris Aponte “Wonder Woman” after she repelled the multiple clown threat. The incident began late Tuesday night when she heard someone calling her name outside her apartment building.
She was curious, as she later told police, so she went down to open the front door — and three men wearing clown masks and carrying a gun forced their way inside.
They knocked her down and started to beat her in the hallway, Aponte told police. But she fought back.
She kicked one in the groin and fought off the others, according to police. The clowns got nervous.
“Hey someone called police. Yoshi, let’s go!” Aponte heard one of the men saying in Spanish.
They ran for the door, and the man with the gun dropped it down his pants. Aponte told police that the man picked up the weapon when it fell out his pants leg, and kept going.
She followed as the men got into a small, silver two-door car and sped away toward Raymond Street, according to a police report. They left behind one of the clown masks and a baseball hat, which were seized by police.
In Melbourne, Florida, two clowns were arrested after “threatening various people with a baseball bat and ax,” according to the Sun Sentinel:
Three separate incidents involving the costumed men were reported over the course of five days, each consisting of aggressive death threats initiated by one or both of the men. The first incident was reported on Oct. 15, when at least one of the men lunged toward a person and threatened to kill them.
Christopher McCarthy, 18, and Nicholas Antonellis, 20, are now facing assault charges, the station says.
And earlier this month, a couple of bozos were arrested for clowning in Wisconsin. These “Parents of the Year” are now facing child neglect charges “after leaving their 4-year-old at home while they terrorized a Wisconsin neighborhood.”
City of Menasha police officers responded in the early morning hours of Oct. 7 to 911 calls reporting people in clown masks chasing after vehicles. Dashcam video shows the officer confronting two men, ages 20 and 29, who were allegedly involved in the incident. Police said they also found the clowns’ driver, a 26-year-old woman, in a vehicle parked nearby.
While no one was charged for the clown costumes, police did arrest the 29-year-old man and 26-year-old woman after discovering the couple had allegedly left their 4-year-old child home alone for several hours during the clown prank.
The child was placed by the Department of Human Services outside of the home. The parents have been referred to court on charges of child neglect. The woman was also held in the Winnebago County Jail on a probation hold.
