The Extraordinary BBC Version of Beethoven's 'Sinfonia Eroica'

Another great online find from Don Sucher who emailed:

David,  I know you’ll be getting to Beethoven eventually.

Wanted to make sure you knew about this: the BBC production of “Eroica.” It is a film that contains the entire symphony in a truly extraordinary performance conducted by John Eliot Gardner, but it is much more than that. It tells the story of the significance of this earth moving piece of music. I expect you (and PJL’s readers) will find it mesmerizing. I still do and I have seen it about a half dozen times.

Kind of amazing that the entire BBC film is available on line! :)
