Kanye West Rushed to L.A. Hospital for 'Evaluation' After Canceling National Tour

Kanye West was reportedly taken to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles Monday afternoon for an evaluation after a welfare check was requested for the entertainer. The hospitalization came on the same day that West’s concert promoter, Live Nation, announced the cancellation of the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour.

According to law enforcement sources … cops responded to a call for a welfare check on Kanye around 1:20 PM PT. He wasn’t at his home at the time. We’re told paramedics also responded and ended up transporting Kanye to the hospital by ambulance.

Sources connected to Kanye tell us he was getting checked out by one of his doctors for severe sleep deprivation when someone — possibly the physician — decided he needed to be admitted.

Law enforcement sources tell us Kanye did not want to go, and was restrained when he was transported.

Kanye has been acting rather erratically lately, even for Kanye. Last Saturday he interrupted his Sacramento show to call out Beyonce, Jay Z, and Hillary Clinton.

In what he later referred to as a “moment in the Matrix” West told fans:

Now don’t go trying to diss Beyoncé, she is great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. We are all equal. But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are just to win. F*** winning! F*** looking cool! F*** looking cool! F*** being cool! F*** all that, bruh! I’ve been sent here to give y’all my truth even at the risk of my own life, even at the risk of my own success, my own career. I’ve been sent here to give y’all the truth. Jay Z — call me, bruh. You STILL ain’t called me … Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Please call me. Talk to me like a man.

He then added, “If your old ass keeps following old models, you’ll be Hillary Clinton.”

This rant comes just a few days after he defended his vote for Donald Trump. Er … rather … Kanye said that if he’d bothered to vote (which he didn’t) he would have voted for Trump:

Not only did I not vote, but there were a lot of things I actually liked about Trump’s campaign. His approach was f***ing genius – because it worked.

Last year Kanye declared he would run for president in 2020. For the good of everyone involved, let’s hope Kanye gets the help he needs.
