The Official Pictures from the Royal Wedding Are Here

The excitement surrounding the royal wedding from this past weekend is hardly over. If you weren’t one of the nearly 30 million people who tuned in to watch the nuptials of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (a.k.a. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle), then you have certainly heard something about it.

The ceremony was delightful — thanks in part to the $45 million budget. The American bride’s African-American culture was front and center, as the Most Rev. Michael Bruce Curry gave a sermon, and a black gospel choir sang “Stand By Me.” Many British traditions were, of course, still part of the ceremony as well — like a sprig of myrtle in the bride’s bouquet, and the exciting horse-drawn carriage ride following the ceremony.

Two days after the big celebration, Kensington Palace released the official pictures from the wedding, and they are nothing short of stunning.

The full family photo features the happy couple, as well as Queen Elizabeth II and Ms. Doria Ragland (Markle’s mother), both donning green. They are joined by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales (Prince Charles), the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Wills and Kate) and the bridesmaids and pageboys, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The photo was taken in the Green Drawing Room at Windsor Castle.

A more casual photo of the couple, joined by the little bridesmaids and pageboys is absolutely precious and so much fun:

The third and final photo that was released is a black and white image of the newlyweds:
