Eleven-year-old Mason Ramsey, known as “Walmart Yodel Boy,” is receiving rave reviews and appears to be well on his way to superstardom following performances this week on NBC’s “Ellen” and at Coachella, the popular festival in Indio, California. The boy’s passion for yodeling has also led to an invitation to sing at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.

Here is Ramsey stealing the hearts of Ellen and her audience earlier this week:

He became an Internet sensation after footage surfaced of him yodeling in the aisle of a Walmart in Harrisburg, Illinois, a couple of weeks ago.

The talented tween hails from Golconda, Illinois, a small town of around 700 people that is located along the Ohio River bordering Kentucky.

On Friday, Ramsey made his Coachella debut alongside Whethan, an 18-year-old DJ/music producer from Chicago.

Whethan said his next guest needed “no introduction,” and when Ramsey walked onto the stage in his now-familiar cowboy hat, big belt, and red bow tie, the crowd went wild. Their reactions were reminiscent of those early starstruck reactions to Elvis and the Beatles. In fact, the roar of the crowd was so loud it almost drowned out the boy’s yodeling.

Pop star Justin Bieber appears to be a big fan:

Ramsey got to meet Bieber and posed for a few selfies with him at the event.

Ramsey shared a photo of himself shaking hands with his fans at Coachella on Instagram under the name @lilhankwilliams.

Looks like the kid has a great future ahead of him in the music business. Let’s hope and pray he is surrounded by good people who will help him keep his head on straight.
