In part two of my interview with my friend Carol Roth we speak at length about the short and long-term economic consequences of this shutdown. We’re all worried about it and I wanted to pick the brain of someone with far more economic expertise than I have. We also talked about the economic ramifications for the upcoming election, which both agreed were loaded with unknowns.
This ended up running about twice as long as I had planned but I just love hearing Carol opine on most subjects. I get asked a lot about the economy and usually just reply “Everything is awful and I’m having more beer delivered.” I was glad to pick up some actual knowledge.
