If your police department is in charge of enforcing the law in a city with horrifying crime numbers compared to the country’s average, what should your focus be? Why, woke political virtue-signaling, of course.
It is unfortunately true now that so many of our institutions are highly politicized that they have become completely ineffective at the jobs for which they exist, and yet have overwhelming self-satisfaction because they make all the “right” statements expected from woke activist zealots. “Pride Month” is not merely an excuse for mentally ill freaks to display their worst perversions; it is a sort of test or competition among leftists to see who can collect the most virtue points.
Well, it’s June again. If you are an American patriot, it means that we are getting very close to America’s 250th birthday. If you are a Catholic, it means honoring Jesus’s Sacred Heart. If you are a sports fan, you are probably excited about the FIFA World Cup. And if you are in the Greensboro Police Department in North Carolina, you are shouting your support for sexual perversion.

Aside from the fact that the department is explicitly aligning itself with mentally ill people who think that it is possible to alter one’s biological sex and that it is praiseworthy to groom small children, there is another issue with this post. You see, Greensboro PD operates in a city with a violent crime rate more than 150% higher than the national average. Its priority should definitely not be promoting Pride Month.

The city is relatively small with a population of around 300,000, but a significant portion of that population appears to be made up of criminals. The website OpenCrime provides the following data for 2024:
Greensboro has a violent crime rate of 923.7 per 100,000 residents, 157% above the national average.
The murder rate in Greensboro is 14.1 per 100K, with 43 homicides reported in 2024…Violent crime in Greensboro increasedby +11.8% from the previous year. The city is currently on a volatile trajectory.
OpenCrime gives Greensboro a safety rating of “F” for its incredibly high crime rate. The city is in the 97th percentile for safety, with assault being a particularly common crime there.
Maybe part of Greensboro PD’s problem is that its leadership is a little too focused on woke propaganda promotion and not nearly focused enough on fighting crime. Or maybe it's the whole philosophy that what is criminal is wrong. After all, Pride Month is usually associated with the sexual grooming of children and making heroes out of people who really ought to be in mental institutions.
Greensboro PD is just an example of a much wider problem, which is the one I mentioned at the beginning of this article — that so many institutions have become wokified to the point of being utterly useless at accomplishing their most basic duties. Instead of preaching about leftist nonsense, they need to focus on being efficient and effective.
