The Republican governor of New Hampshire has again failed to protect women’s facilities from invasion by mentally ill dudes in dresses. And we have to ask — why???
New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte made an extraordinarily stupid excuse for her refusal to sign a bill excluding biological men from women’s locker rooms. She claimed the legislation would be too hard to enforce. It is extraordinary how for all of American history we managed to enforce having only women in female restrooms and locker rooms and yet now it is so impossible to enforce that she won’t even sign legislation for it. But this is nonsense anyway. The most pathetic excuse for not doing what is right is to say it might be challenging to do so — as if legislation should only be passed against evils very, very easy to suppress.
Townhall reported that this is the second time Ayotte vetoed a bill on banning men from women’s bathrooms. “I made it clear this issue needed to be addressed in a thoughtful, narrow way that protects the privacy, safety, and rights of all Granite Staters,” she blathered. Hey, Ayotte, it’s painfully simple: banning men from women’s facilities protects the privacy and safety of women and girls. What other legitimate privacy and safety concerns could there possibly be?
We get the hint in her comment that the legislation would create an “exclusionary environment.” In other words, what she really believes is that women’s safety and privacy should be put at risk so that mentally ill men can feel included. I’m not sure why Ayotte is still Republican, such being her opinion.

But this all still begs the question of why we must treat mentally ill men with kid gloves at the expense of women. No one has a "right" to use a specific restroom, and gender dysphoria is a mental illness, no matter what the woke medical establishment says.
It is literally impossible to alter one's biological sex, so it is actually lacking in compassion to gender dysphoric men to encourage their delusion by letting them use women's facilities. Therefore, from every perspective, whether we focus on the women or on the transgender-identifying men, there is no justification for allowing cross-sex bathroom use.
Probably the most infamous example of how these transgender bathroom policies go wrong is from Loudoun County, Virginia, where a skirt-wearing boy sexually assaulted girls at two different high schools in 2021, one of the assaults occurring in the girls’ bathroom.
Last year, an elementary school girl accused a male student of punching her in the stomach and spitting on her in her California school bathroom. A few months previous, a male sex offender exposed himself in a girls’ bathroom and justified himself by claiming to be a “trans woman.” In the UK, according to the magazine Spiked: “Trans-inclusive policies have been a gift to sexual predators. At least 16 rapes, 80 sexual assaults and 65 acts of voyeurism took place in mixed-sex changing rooms in 2023.”
Allowing men to use women’s bathrooms and locker rooms is a lose-lose situation. Ayotte obviously got her opinions on this topic straight out of the toilet.
