Israel Challenges Its Detractors to Address Hamas’s Ongoing Executions in Gaza

Townhall/Katie Pavlich

As Hamas rounds up Gazans from rival military factions and holds mass executions, the state of Israel is challenging its detractors to be as concerned about this internal bloody violence in Gaza as they were about Israel fighting Gazan terrorists.

Hamas, of course, has refused to disarm, it states it will not do so until and unless it takes over the entire nation of Israel and makes Jerusalem a Muslim capital. That was entirely predictable — Hamas’s whole reason for existence is Jewish genocide. But for some reason, the outcry over Israel striking terrorist targets in Gaza was exponentially greater than the outcry against Hamas for kidnapping and killing Gazans now that they have taken a temporary break from killing Israelis.

The state of Israel shared a graphic video on X of a Hamas mass execution, “The ceasefire is now 4 days old. Hamas is still killing Palestinians. Do any of the anti-Israel crowd out there care? #justasking It’s not resistance - It’s tyranny. Hamas must go.”

In the modern West, we operate under the false and dangerous assumption that the natural state of mankind is peace, with certain inconvenient interruptions of war that always end with everyone getting around a table and signing a compromise. This could not be further from the ordinary state of mankind. For most of human history, there has been ceaseless war, and wars usually end only when one side definitively wins. This is most certainly true for Muslim groups and nations, because Islam is truly a 7th-century barbarian religion, specifically developed to appeal to tribal warriors, giving them religious excuses for raping, pillaging, and murdering.

Hamas co-founder’s son Mosab Hassan Yousef warned gullible pro-Hamas Westerners last year that while hatred for Israel binds different factions of Palestinians together now, in the absence of Israel, the Gazan Arabs “would kill each other.” And lo and behold, as soon as the ceasefire began, Hamas poured into the areas newly vacated by Israeli troops and began fighting other factions of Gazans. Yousef was not prophetic, but experienced. As one of the rare Palestinians who broke free from the brainwashing imposed on children in Gaza from the earliest ages, as the son of a terrorist who called for his death, Yousef knows from personal experience just how violent is the culture from which he escaped.

Israel is right to call attention to this internal violence in Gaza and challenge the people around the world who scream extreme accusations of genocide at Israel to be equally outraged by the new killings. If Israel‘s efforts to defend itself were allegedly so condemnable, why is it that Hamas jihadis’ massacres are attracting comparatively little attention and outrage in the media and in all the institutions that were hotspots of antisemitic protests?

What Israel is shining a light on is the thorough hypocrisy of the anti-Israel protestors and propagandists. This global hysteria was never about the Gazans; it was always about anti-Jewish hatred.
