Donald Trump is proving during his second term that he is willing to take on sacred cows which have terrified too many other politicians. One area where he is proving himself exceptional is his ability to recognize hard and blindingly obvious truths about Israel and Hamas, which the rest of the world unequivocally denies.
From planning to deport overwhelmingly pro-Hamas Gazans to recognizing that the “West Bank” is actually Judea and Samaria to emphasizing Hamas’s genocidal desire for a new Holocaust, Trump is far and away the most clear-sighted recent U.S. president on Israel. After the endless pro-“Palestinian,” anti-Israel backstabbing of the Biden-Harris administration, Donald Trump is an especially welcome change.
Speaking from his plane, Trump said, “Hamas has been a disaster. And by the way, I have to tell you that I watched the hostages come back today, and they look like Holocaust survivors. They were in horrible condition. They were emaciated. It looked like many years ago, the Holocaust survivors. And I don't know how much longer we can take that.”
Trump: I saw the abductees coming out, they look like holocaust survivors, I know there is an agreement that Hamas releases a little every week, but I don't know how long I will continue to endure this, my patience is running out. pic.twitter.com/YfSRG3xNXc

Trump referred to the unsatisfactory deal made with Hamas before he took office again where the hostages “keep dribbling in,” one or two or three released at a time. “But they are in really bad shape. They have been treated brutally, horribly, even the ones that came out earlier, they were in a little bit better shape, but mentally, they were treated so badly. Who could take that? You know, at some point, we're going to lose our patience when I see that scene that I saw today with people coming out of helicopters and airplanes that are emaciated, that look like they haven't had a meal in a month. No reason for that. I don't know how much longer we can take it.”

Unlike the preachy politicians who mourn Hamas or simply pay lip service to supporting Israel, Trump is looking for real solutions. “When I watch people that were healthy people a reasonably short number of years ago, and you look at them today, that today, they look like they've aged 25 years. They literally look like the old pictures of Holocaust survivors.” One hostage released this past week didn’t know Hamas had murdered his wife and children until after his release. Hamas kept only him alive — barely.
Back during Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit, Trump detailed his plan to deport many jihad-loving Gazans and have the U.S. “own” Gaza while Israel provides security and new stability. Trump clarified that America wouldn’t send its own military over to Gaza for years to keep the peace (what a novel idea). Rather, “the United States would view it as a real estate transaction, where we'll be an investor in that part of the world, and no rush to do anything. [Security] there would be supplied and given to us by Israel. They'll watch it in terms of security. We're not talking about boots on the ground or anything, but I think … the fact that we're there, that we have an investment there, I think would go a long way to creating peace. … This has been going on for 50 years. Much more than that. We just want to see stability.”
Trump sees Gaza as new real estate where Israel will provide security. This sounds like American lives will be safe from any harm if his project goes ahead.

After yesterday's savagery, I hope he does it as soon as possible.

His one problematic proposal was possibly letting other Middle Eastern countries also get involved in Gaza, even though all the surrounding nations are dictatorial Islamic regimes. But Trump has come so far in his understanding of the situation, which is the result of nearly a century of Islamic jihad against Israel, that no doubt his advisers can steer him right on this vague proposal too.
Trump has emphasized more than once of Gaza, “We're committed to owning it, taking it, and making sure that Hamas doesn't move back. There's nothing to move back into. The place is a demolition site. It will be. The remainder will be demolished… You can't live in those buildings right now, they're very unsafe.” It is long past time to reduce the jihadi hotbed of Gaza to rubble. Only then can peace return to the Holy Land, which God gave to the Jews millennia ago (Genesis 17:8).
