Antisemitic, pro-terrorist freaks at George Washington University defaced a statue of their university’s namesake and draped it in Palestinian flags. It is particularly sad that by doing so, these Nazified leftists are not only attacking a great American, they are attacking a man who warmly opposed any prejudice against the Jewish people and religion.
George Washington was an exceptional man in many ways, one of the few great leaders of history who was as virtuous as he was famous. He did indeed make mistakes, of course, and he had to learn to overcome certain prejudices of his day, but by the end of his life, he was years ahead of many of his contemporaries on such topics as racism, slavery — and antisemitism. The America-hating, Jew-hating university protestors who defaced Washington’s statue don't understand history, which is why they are behaving as they are, but it is a sad illustration of how corrupted our great nation has become. We used to have men like Washington, who believed in equal rights for all men. Now we have Marxist haters who want to injure and kill anyone who disagrees with them.
The Daily Signal reported on Monday on the Washington statue being defaced by anti-Israel protesters at an ongoing pro-jihad protest there. The fool students, who apparently are unaware that the jihad-loving Palestinians would happily shoot them dead, draped a Palestinian flag scarf over the statue. The crazies also added stickers with such jihadi propaganda as “End the Genocide Free Palestine,” “The Students United Will Never Be Divided,” and “Anti-Fascist Action,” according to Daily Signal. One particularly passionate wokie slapped a “Rise Love Resist” sticker over Washington’s face.

The destructive antisemites completed their work by painting on the statue’s base, “Genocidal Warmongering University.” Israel is not committing genocide, although that is exactly what Hamas tried to do against Israelis. But if there’s one thing that is abundantly clear now, it’s that colleges don’t educate students; they only brainwash them to believe Marxist lies.
One man who was neither antisemitic nor brainwashed was the great Father of our Country, George Washington, a devout Christian who was a firm believer in religious freedom. Below is an excerpt from his 1790 letter to the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, Rhode Island:
The Citizens of the United States of America have a right to applaud themselves for having given to mankind examples of an enlarged and liberal policy: a policy worthy of imitation. All possess alike liberty of conscience and immunities of citizenship It is now no more that toleration is spoken of, as if it was by the indulgence of one class of people, that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent natural rights. For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.

It is high time that patriots in the tradition of Washington show as much zeal (but not in the same destructive manner) as the antisemitic Commies and rise up to win the culture war and make this country once again a land of liberty for everyone, including for the Children of Abraham.
