Wind turbines are neither “green” nor practical. They are inefficient, expensive, waste-generating boondoggles. Perhaps that’s why leftist governments love them so much — bureaucracy and wind turbines have a lot in common.
Wind turbines require vast amounts of land, which often means using farmland or cutting down thousands of acres of trees, and they kill birds (so much for helping the environment). They cannot produce enough to power modern society, and they suck up a lot of money that investors don't recover, not to mention that they frequently break and produce toxic waste.
Even if the climate crisis were real (which it isn’t), wind turbines would still be a stupid investment. Unfortunately, that stupid investment is one that woke governments and companies love to make.
Wide Awake Media posted a media segment last week about the hypocritical scam of Scotland’s windmills.
“Scotland's power sector came under fire after it was revealed that massive diesel generators were used to ensure dozens of giant wind turbines could function,” the Twitter/X post explained. “‘According to the Sunday Mail, they were tipped off by a whistleblower who cited a number of environmental health and safety concerns, one of which was half a dozen diesel generators running for up to six hours a day to de-ice the wind turbines.’”

Scotland chopped down about 14 million trees to make way for these wind turbines. It’s absolutely appalling that so many plants were killed so the authorities there could virtue-signal about supposedly solving a climate crisis that isn’t actually occurring.

Lawyer and former Trump official Jeff Clark hammered home the point of the Scotland story. “Wind power is inherently intermittent and not just because the wind doesn’t blow much on some days but because some days when it is blowing, the wind turbines are iced,” Clark noted.
He called out politicians who waste taxpayer money on such nonsense. “Governments have to stop fooling themselves and use traditional coal, oil, and gas electric power,” Clark insisted. “De-icing wind turbines with petro-power reveals the whole alternate energy movement is a failed scam.”

Scotland is hardly the only woke country in love with wind turbines and other “green” energy. For instance, Fox News recently reported that the Biden administration earmarked a staggering $366 million for 17 projects to bring green energy to “Native American reservations and in other rural areas.” This is only one of multiple expensive commitments the Biden administration has made to green energy.
Wind turbines kill an estimated 140,000 to 328,000 birds annually. Wind turbines need rare earths that require abusive child labor to mine and that Communist China refines. The toxic waste from the turbines’ production and disposal is massive. Why are governments still investing in the wind turbine scam?
