Father of J6 Prisoner Demands Accountability for Weaponized Federal Agencies

The father of a Jan. 6 protester who has been in jail three years without trial is calling for Americans to join him in demanding accountability from biased federal agencies and officials.

Regardless of the crime an American citizen has committed, he is entitled to certain rights, including “the right to a speedy and public trial,” according to the Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. In a seemingly flagrant violation of the Bill of Rights, federal agencies and the Democrat-controlled D.C. justice system have had multiple Jan. 6 protestors incarcerated in reportedly abusive conditions without a trial for months or years on end. Jake Lang, for instance, has been in jail for over three years without trial, and Lang’s father is trying to call attention to this disturbing situation.

Jake Lang was caught up in the Jan. 6, 2021, protests and says he saved a fellow protester’s life from a similar fate to Rosanne Boyland — namely, being trampled under a stampede. Lang is accused of “Assaultin [sic], Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers Using a Dangerous Weapon” and other charges by the feds for confronting Capitol police with a bat, as I explained recently. Lang previously told PJ Media that he found and picked up a bat in self-defense in the face of police brutality. As Lang has yet to go to trial despite three years of incarceration, no court has ruled on his actions.

Lang’s father Ned spoke out about the unequally applied justice of the Biden administration in a recent video. “I’m out here protesting in front of the [Prettyman] federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., on behalf of my son and every other J6er — to the inequitable, unlawful political persecution of these poor J6 patriots and their families,” he said.

Ned continued, “So it’s about time we got off our sofas, get out of the house, to get out into the streets and peacefully protest, hold these judges accountable, hold the DOJ accountable, the FBI accountable, every federal agency for all the harm they’re doing to our American citizens.”

The problem is that, if Democrats can trample one citizen’s rights, every other citizen is at risk, too. “Any citizen can be picked up off the street now and held like my son for three years and 46 days as a supposed — supposed pre-trial detainee, but he’s really a political hostage of the Biden regime,” Lang’s father argued. “So I urge everyone to get out, stand up, and take this country back peacefully.”

Multiple sources have reported terrible conditions for the Jan. 6 prisoners, including statements from lawmakers and a court ruling as well as Dinesh D’Souza’s movie, “Police State.” Many of the prisoners have been deprived not only of their rights but of basic necessities.

Meanwhile, Lang has reportedly been moved from the D.C. jail J6ers call the “Gulag” to a different state and prison. A message posted to his Twitter/X account on Feb. 29 said, “After a cruel and unusual merry-go-round, I have finally landed in a GANG INFESTED federal prison - Brooklyn,NY!!” Lang accused the guards of being part of the problem. “The guards here regularly throw up gang signs and sit back idly by as inmates are STABBED with prison shanks and EXTORTED!! Drug overdoses and deaths are common place in Brooklyn Federal Prison.” As of last year, three Brooklyn federal prison guards were accused of sexually abusing prisoners.

In a common trend reported by Jan. 6 prisoners, Lang said he has had his visitation rights restricted. “It’s been 10 days since I have had ANY contact with the outside world,” his message stated. “The corrupt Joe Biden DOJ/BOP have rejected my lawyers [sic] repeated attempts to have a legal call with me and even turned my father away when he came to visit me at Lewisburg Maximum security Penitentiary ( where I was being held for over a week!).” Lang even alleged that his “trial preparations have been destroyed and I no longer have my video discovery hard drive!”

Ultimately, the key takeaway from both Lang’s and his father’s messages is that America is becoming a land with a politically manipulated justice system. Regardless of what he did on Jan. 6, whether guilty or innocent, Lang has constitutional rights that are apparently being trampled. Illegal aliens pour across our border to be met with taxpayer-funded freebies — some illegals are even flown straight into America by the Biden administration. Dangerous criminals are re-released onto the street daily by soft-on-crime leftist DAs. Many BLM and Antifa protesters burned and looted cities with impunity. Yet Lang and other Jan. 6 prisoners cannot even get a trial?

Last year, another J6 prisoner, Adam Johnson, compared the persecution he suffered to the easy time a J6 prosecutor had when he violently assaulted other people. Johnson was persecuted for non-violently moving furniture on Jan. 6, as he and his fellow MAGA protesters were viciously vilified by media and politicians across America and even around the world. In contrast, J6 prosecutor Patrick Scruggs reportedly bailed himself out with no conditions after viciously attacking two motorists. Even Donald Trump himself has been bombarded with biased lawfare while the feds covered up for Joe Biden and his criminal son Hunter.

It seems increasingly that there is a two-tiered justice system in America, and far too many Americans are ignoring or denying that ominous reality.
