The White House released this photo yesterday. It shows President Obama meeting with national security advisers in the White House Situation Room to assess the unfolding events in Egypt.
The photo is intended to show America and the world that the Obama administration is on the ball as Egypt’s revolution enters a new phase. The administration also released a statement that comes across as warning Egypt’s military not to move too hard against the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood.
But nearly a year after the terrorist attack on the US facility in Benghazi, Libya, no similar photo of President Obama meeting with his advisers has been released.
Why? Why have Americans never seen a photo of their president in action as his ambassador and security detail were under a terrorist assault that left four Americans dead?
