Fay, comma

Sorry for the lack of updates. My DSL connection picked a bad night to go on the fritz.

Anyway, the Key West radar loop is interesting. Fay has a distinct comma shape — more nor’easter-like than hurricane-like. But the northern “eyewall,” or whatever it is, looks pretty impressive. It will pack a punch, wherever it comes ashore tomorrow. (See also the Miami radar loop.)

I’ll post more in the morning, by which point hopefully my Internets will have healed themselves (and by which point Fay should be very near landfall). Meanwhile, for the very latest, keep checking the sites at right, the radar links above, and the Miami Herald storm reports.
