Partisan Arnold and Post-Partisan Arnold

Bill Bradley attended, and has some excerpts from, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Inaugural speech. Arnold’s vision now: “Post-partisanship is Republicans and Democrats actively giving birth to new ideas together. I believe it would promote a new centrism and a new trust in our political system.”

This stands in stark contrast to Arnold’s vision in Conan the Barbarian in 1982 when the best in life was, “To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.” But if Conan can change, we all can change. For awhile. (Read it all HERE)
