Progressive shrews continue not handling their Sydney Sweeney psychosis well at all
If she were anything other than what she is, they’d give her a pass.
If she were a Person of Color™, they’d celebrate her.
If she were a tranny, they’d lavish her with awards.
If she wore a hijab, they’d kiss her feet.
If she agreed to do a quick human interest story segment on MSNOW with top cable news lesbian Rachel Maddow about her twelve abortions and how empowering they felt, and why every young woman should also have at least twelve abortions by the time she’s 25, they could overlook at least some of her transgressions against the progressive faith.
Five minutes of her time; that’s all.

If she had shown up on the stump for Kamala Harris, they could have lent her some grace.
If she even just had green hair and some trashy tattoos and the thousand-yard SSRI stare — the uniform of the intersectional feminist — they would consider letting her be.
If she could provide them with literally any symbolic gesture whatsoever to indicate her rejection of The Heteronormative White Patriarchy™ in favor of intersectional feminism, they could work with her.
But she isn’t any of those things, and she doesn’t do any of that.
Instead, she’s a bombshell blonde woman straight out of the pinup tradition with none of the visible hallmarks of a Modern Empowered Woman and who doesn’t do the performative virtue-signaling that her peers do.
And they despise her for all of those reasons.

In short, Sweeney’s triggering of the shrews boils down to three key facts:
- She’s white
- She’s coded as “right-wing” (fascist) even though she’s not political
- She refuses to apologize for either of the previous two facts

When accusations of her inclinations toward white supremacy were at its peak, she appeared in an interview with GQ. When asked to comment directly about the ad’s apparent message pertaining to white genetic superiority, she merely responded, “I think that when I have an issue that I want to speak about, people will hear.”
Her response to President Trump’s defense of her was equally dubious and curt. “It was surreal,” she said…
Sweeney is part of a particular brand of white feminism that overlaps with choice feminism, a principle where all women’s behavior is considered empowering simply because a woman committed them.
It’s a deeply disturbing political perspective not only because it enables backwards behavior but also because it’s robustly barricaded against critique*—which, of course, is evident in Sweeney, who never seems to learn her lesson.

As sad as the commentary on society might be regarding who has the power to set the cultural table, an aggressively apolitical celebrity, Sydney Sweeney, has probably done more to combat Social Justice™ than a thousand conservative/dissident talking heads and pundits and academics jabbering away on the airwaves and the interwebz — me included.
Literally all that she has to do is show up looking like herself with her well-endowed bosom and her blonde hair, and they go nuts, like vampires to crosses.
