‘Gentle parenting your uncle who is offended by ‘happy holidays’’
I’ve covered this lady, Arielle Fodor, AKA “Miss Frazzled,” before.
She is a professional progressive agitator whose shtick is manufacturing staged performative conversations in which she condescends — in the manner of a kindergarten teacher admonishing a naughty student — to imaginary off-camera caricatures of flyover people who have committed transgressions against Social Justice™ orthodoxy on a variety of topics.
This genre she calls “gentle parenting your [insert pejorative term for Deplorable].”
Fodor recently introduced a “gentle parenting” Christmas episode into her canon, in which she hen-pecks a fantasy uncle of hers for preferring the use of “Merry Christmas” over “Happy Holidays.”
She did not yell at you, Uncle Don. She said ‘Happy Holidays’! That’s so kind!
Hey friend, I know that 'Merry Christmas' is your favorite, but she doesn’t know that, right?
Friend, the War on Christmas has always been a made-up scary story. You have so many real war crimes that you can worry about instead.

Just because nobody is making you feel super special right now does not mean they’re bullying you. Got it, got it? Are you still able to celebrate whatever you want? Okay, well there are so many other holidays too. Including others does not make you lose anything. Okay? There is enough for everyone. That is differently than you normally think. But we can try super-duper hard to remember that there are other people.
Oh my goodness, big feelings! What is one Christmassy thing that you can smell? And taste? And hear? And see? And one that you can touch? Good job.

Fodor ostensibly believes these propaganda pieces are somehow effective in reaching hearts and minds, but what she’s really doing, it seems, is content-farming by pandering to her base’s basest instincts and prejudices against MAGA.
(As I’m feeling charitable in the spirit of Christmas, I’ll note that this is not an uncommon practice in any ideological subculture; I might be guilty of it myself right now. Log in your own eye, rocks from glass houses, etc.)
In any event, in the uniquely gynocratic, totalitarian way that Fodor turns what are legitimate political/cultural issues into opportunities to infantilize the public, as if her political opponents are toddlers who need to be corrected instead of engaging with them like adults as her equals, nothing and no one, perhaps, could make a greater effort to encourage the popular reconsideration of the wisdom of the 19th Amendment.
