Archiving the “strange death of Europe,” as Douglas Murray put it, at the hands of the Brussels bureaucracy (and Downing Street) and their hordes of imported “migrants.”
UK Green Party MP: Migrant camps filled with doctors and lawyers!
Eritrea and Afghanistan, MP and Deputy Leader of the Green Party Rachel Millward claims, are actually powerhouse factories producing excesses of doctors and lawyers, ready to be magnanimously gifted to the culturally destitute nations of the First World.

Given their impressive skill sets, she explains, these “refugees” must be afforded the “right to work.”
So I'm here outside the Crowborough Training Camp where the Home Office has decided to temporarily house 540 asylum seekers. What struck me most, actually, from this first site visit is the stories from Home Office staff of asylum seekers in other sites—they're talking about surgeons, doctors, and lawyers, people who've come from Eritrea or Afghanistan or all kinds of different places, who really should have the right to work, to contribute to our society, to be better integrated for their own wellbeing and for our communities, to pay tax, to be able to rent their own accommodation, to get on with building their lives. We need to give asylum seekers the right to work. These camps are a political decision—we don't have to do it this way.
Omg she actually said this

Putting aside the veracity of the claim, let’s assume that every migrant camp is filled to the brim with Eritrean doctors and Afghan lawyers.
And what good, exactly, would that do to the British?
Eritrea has one of the most poorly developed medical systems and one of the highest female genital mutilation rates in the world at 83%. The Taliban legal system is one of the most oppressive, fundamentalist regimes in the world.
Which is to say: if even the camps were teeming with doctors and lawyers from Eritrea and Afghanistan, they’d all have to be retrained and recertified anyway.
On the issue of granting the right to work to asylum seekers, the British government, in order to sort out actual, bona fide asylum seekers — meaning people fleeing persecution in their home countries — from economic migrants merely looking for a higher standard of living, precludes alleged asylum seekers from working until their claim has been processed.

Of course, the dirty little secret that polite Green Party members such as Ms. Millward are not allowed to say out loud — the uttering of which would be liable to land you in the big house in Keir Starmer’s UK — is that the vast majority of migrants posing as asylum seekers are actually just run-of-the-mill economic migrants hungry for the largesse of the West, trained by the transnational NGOs running the replacement migration agenda on how to game the system.
