Leftist Minneapolis Mayoral Candidate Thinks He Knows Who Poses the Real Domestic Threat

Imagine traveling to Somalia or Azerbaijan or Laos with little to no knowledge of the indigenous cultures and peoples, determining that the real problem is all of the Somalis, Azerbaijanis, and Laotians, respectively, demanding free cash courtesy of the natives, and then smearing them as “domestic terrorists.”

Such is Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh’s apparent and abrasive political strategy, one that would surely not work anywhere outside of the West but which the West tolerates for some masochistic reason:

We’ve heard [migrants] being called terrorists. … We’ve heard that they’re a threat to our national security, and that’s a flat out lie. You want to know who the real threat is?

They look like many of the members that sit in the front.

The greatest domestic threat facing the United States comes from ‘racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists, specifically those who advocate for the superiority of the white race.’

This affront to decency is intolerable.

Birthright citizenship was a mistake.

Simply being born in America to non-American parents does not make one an American.

This guy clearly has greater allegiance to a foreign country and people than to the United States.

And, for the record, we have recycled intelligence industry propaganda from the likes of John Brennan to thank for this stupid talking point that the Somali socialist is now parroting.

John Brennan, 2021:

[The Biden intelligence services] are moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements that we've seen overseas

It brings together an unholy alliance of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians. And unfortunately I think there’s been this momentum that generated as a result of unfortunately the demagogic rhetoric of people that’s just departed government, but also those who continue in the halls of Congress and so I really do think that the law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence, and even the defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very very serious and insidious threat to our democracy and our republic.

In separate but equal news, a video from 2021 has recently resurfaced in which Fateh explains the need for a $400 million investment from the government to curb so-called “systemic racism":

It’s not an expense, it’s an investment. It is relatively small compared to the scope of the issue of systemic racism. This country was founded on wealth extraction from the labor of black people. And that legacy will not just fade by itself. It needs to be uprooted.

Putting aside the brazen co-opting of the actual African-American experience by this guy whose parents arrived on American visas about five minutes ago, I have a slightly different take than the future mayor on what could use extracting.

For a fraction of that $400 million “investment,” as the future Minneapolis mayor puts it, we could probably easily deport — “extract,” if you will — every Somali anchor baby in the United States.
