“Unite Against the War on Women” march, Los Angeles
On Saturday, a coalition of women’s rights, feminist, labor, progressive, and pro-choice groups organized marches in over 50 cities nationwide to protest in favor of President Obama’s health care agenda and against any restriction on abortion rights.

Photojournalist Ringo of Ringo’s Pictures attended the Los Angeles rally and has now posted a report about what happened.
[NOTE: As of 9:00am on May 2, this report has now been UPDATED with new photos, videos, text and links. If you only saw the original "preview" version earlier, keep reading.]
You can view Ringo’s full report here:
Women March Against the Phony “War on Women” – Los Angeles, CA 4/28/2012
This PJM post is merely an excerpt of Ringo’s report, to draw attention to it; click the link above to see plenty more photos.
By adapting the phrase “War on Women,” the protesters are unabashedly aligning themselves with the Democratic Party and the Obama 2012 presidential campaign, both of which are pushing this exact term as a campaign issue this year, claiming that the GOP is waging “a war on women.”
Here’s Ringo’s summary of the impetus behind the march:
We all know the story – When the Catholic Church objected to a provision in President Obama’s 2000 page “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act”, that requires Catholic hospitals and schools to provide both contraceptives and so called “Day After” pills as part of their employee healthcare packages, Democrats pulled the old bait and switch, accusing Republicans of engaging in a “War on Women” for supporting the Church’s objections. A 30 year old Democrat activist named Sandra Fluke, posing as a doe-eyed college student, was brought in to speak before a group of House Democrats as part of the “Conscience Clause Committee”. She explained how the Catholic University she attended did not provide her with free contraceptives and so she was forced to spend over $1000.00 per year of her own money to pay for birth control. Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, finding Flukes claim of spending $1000.00 per year on contraception to be a bit of an exaggeration, made a series of tasteless jokes about how much sex would be required in order to spend more than $1000.00 on birth control in a mere 365 days….
A rational person might think that the real issue is whether the Federal Government has the right to force a religious organization to provide (or subsidize) services that are in direct opposition to their long held religious values, but Democrats (and the Left in general) are not concerned with reason (or the U.S. Constitution), and they quickly pounced upon Limbaugh’s comments as an opportunity to create a distraction from the true issue at hand.
So on Saturday, April 28th, women (and some men) gathered in various cities around the country to protest against the completely fabricated, entirely phony, non-existent “Republican War on Women”.
I paid a visit to the rally at Pershing Square in the middle of Downtown, Los Angeles.
For a few more specifics about the march, check out the organizers’ Facebook page and the site of a local NOW chapter.

This short video of a speaker at the rally is a good illustration of exactly the worst argument you can make at a pro-abortion rally:
“When my mom found out she was pregnant with me, she really didn’t feel like she had any options, and uh…I mean, I’m glad I’m here to share this with you, but…for her, y’know, at the time, there wasn’t Planned Parenthood, she didn’t really know what to do…”
In psychology, they call this “cognitive dissonance.”

The march was not particularly large — Ringo estimates a few hundred. Here’s his video showing the entire protest column:
An observation from Ringo:
At one point after a speaker gratuitously used the words “penis” and “vagina” again and again, a young girl of perhaps 7 or 8 standing at the front of the stage put her hands over her ears and yelled out, “Hey, there are children here!” to which the woman on stage replied, “Some day you’ll find out what your vagina is for, and then you’ll thank me”. The crowd had a good laugh.

The obscenity wasn’t just on the signs. Here’s what one of the rally’s speakers sounded like (NSFW):

I say to everyone of these “women,” who purport to be female like myself:
Goodie for you. Pay for it yourself.
I stayed for the entire march and rally, and the primary gripe expressed by the speakers on stage and the signs carried by the demonstrators, was that the government is not providing them with enough free services – or at the very least, forcing others (their employers & schools)to provide free services such as contraception, abortion, counseling etc.
Progress, as these women see it, is more and more free services; anything less they view as a “war” being waged against them.
It’s just another way that so-called “progressivism” is actually “regressivism.”
The women’s rights movement was about making women equal and independent. But these new, liberated “women,” if we can call them that, won’t be happy until they are once again forced to depend on the financial support of the patriarchy. And whereas the previous patriarchy was a known entity – a husband, father, uncle, etc – the new patriarchy is a faceless government blob that dispenses money and doesn’t care one iota for the woman in question. Better yet, a big portion of the new patriarchy is made up of a lot of women. It’s an egaliarchy!
If these women actually understood a d@mn thing about equality, independence, and self-sufficiency, they’d realize that their protests are bass-ackwards. They want to go back to complete dependency with little to no control over their own choices. The stupidity is amazing.
Ayep, that’s correct.
Women who are actually independent don’t need a big daddy figure to support them, but can take care of themselves. If you want your uterus private, why are you inviting the government back into it after fighting forever to get it out of it?
Or is it like teenagers? Get out of my life…but first give me 20 bucks and a ride to the mall.
I don’t think the women’s right movement was ever about making women independent. Independent of men perhaps. From the very beginning, feminists preached that men weren’t necessary, not as husbands, not as fathers, not as breadwinners. But at the same time those same feminists were lobbying government for the support once provided by fathers, husbands and breadwinners. Dependency on men was not only discouraged but disparaged while dependency on government was encouraged and even extolled. The feminist message rang hollow to me from the very beginning.
Jennifer Granholm spoke at one of the rallies. She said if women wanted government off their backs, they would need to elect more women. Yeah, get off my back but leave money on the dresser on your way out.
I’ve always thought the whole purpose of the womens movement was to turn women into whores with no consequences. Women were always the conscience and holders of moral authority in society. If they failed they were shamed and shunned by society and their own families were held up as failures. Not so with the males – boys will be boys, after all. Pretty much that soft bigotry of low expectations with the males. They weren’t expected to deny their baser selves. But ultimately what this movement was for was the destruction of the nuclear family – getting the women out of the homes and handing any children produced over to the state.
Good point.
When I say “independence,” I of course don’t mean independence from men, but rather independence from being dependent on men for everything from pocket money to property. I would imagine that many of the early women’s rights advocates would have shared that view.
But you’re absolutely right that almost as soon as the movement got some traction, it got hijacked and twisted by socialist harpies. It became less about women having equal rights as men and became about women being able to depend on the government INSTEAD of men. Both are about dependency, both infantilize women, and both p!ss me the h3ll off.
Grow up, ladies. Men prefer women who aren’t clingy attention whores, and I prefer men who don’t treat me like a fragile flower who can’t be trusted to weather a mild storm without being torn to pieces by the raindrops. It’s called “being a grown up.” Clearly none of the women in these pictures have figured that out; not even the old bats who look like bleached beef jerky.
Here here now! we are getting aweful close to the Fluke/Limbaugh contraversey with the money on the dresser claim.
how amazing you are! I have seen and lived the entire women’s movement and it is a great sadness to me that the majority of women just don’t get it! We fought for something and it became distorted. I hate what it is today. It sickens me. Thank you for your clarity. I only wish you could be heard.
Maybe we could get Joe Biden to give them their free service. He could toss in a free libation
Remember the OTHER part of Darwin’s work? The bit about “survival of the fittest”? Somehow this bit gives me great comfort in light of the stated intention of these “females” not to breed. Looking at them, and observing their values and attitude, they are not FIT to breed, and our planet is the better for it.
The one poster, “pregnancy is not a punishment for having sex” says a LOT. The values are precisely backward. Pregnancy is the REWARD for having “safe sex”, defined as ONLY with your spouse of opposite gender. This entire collection of individuals at this rally are all about ME ME ME ME ME. MY rights, MY pleaseure, don’t put any responsibilities on ME…….. and is at the root of what is wrong with our culture. the sooner they unbreed themselves from the gene pool, the better we’ll all be.
I’m sorry I didn’t see any journalistic credentials supplied here for either “Ringo” or for “Zombie.” — clearly catchy front names for people who are too afraid to present their real selves. I on the other hand do have over 25 years of mainstream news and media coverage and I was the co-chair of this event in Los Angeles. I was not asked for an interview, nor was my co-chair, nor any of the organizers of this event who have actual facts about the actual messages of this action. The comments in this thread however say everything, therefore an interview would be useless in any case. Surely Mr Ringo’s “blog” (otherwise known as a right wing opinion piece) posted here on PJ Media’s “voices for a free America” will comfort all of your “followers.” See you all in the church pew on Sunday
Perhaps then you have learned a lesson. When you have a public protest, you lose control of the narrative.
That is the nature of protests. Don’t like it? Then express yourself in a more controlled environment.
No one is required to parrot your talking points. Nor are we required to pay the slightest attention to you.
If you don’t like the kind of attention you’re getting, then maybe it’s time to rethink this whole thing.
…Your point?
Or more succinctly: so?
Nanette,
You don’t know why Zombie must post under a pseudonym, I see. It takes a lot more courage to post truth about the US’ enemies and then fear for your life, than it does to whine about people who don’t feel like paying for your contraceptives and abortions. Get your ovaries out of our wallets and pay for your own damn toys.
Nanette, you may get a better perspective if you did go to a church service each Sunday. At least you would learn their are consequences to our actions and if you want to avoid pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and low self-esteem then control your desires.
Thanks for the offer, but I don’t interview people….What I do is show up and quietly document what I see and hear without interfering, then I publish the pictures that I know proper journalists such as yourself would prefer to hide.
I’m having a hard time even accepting that there are men who want to ‘bang’ these beastly women.
ICKKKKKKKK
Never underestimate the desperation of a horny guy…
LOLLLLLLLLLLLL
A guy would truly have to be desperate to “bang” these extremely angry, loud, and unattractive women; either that, or he would really have to hate his d!ck.
I’m guessing that the origin of the rage was because there were men pursuing them sexually…when they were about 10.
Never underestimate men’s ability to fap.
I wouldn’t bang them, even with your junk!
As a “horny Guy” I resent that comment!
I see the need for an “external” (hint, look in a kitchen drawer) appliance in order for any of these womyn to be impregnated.
That’s just what I was thinking, Delia. Suspension of disbelief: these women need free birth control.
Do re me me me: “Oh the girls all look prettier at closing time…”
Fred, these women ARE birth control.
I liked the first one. She just wanted a sandwich – a lot of them.
Yes a sandwich she clearly did not need. In fact she could probably stand to un eat about one million sandwiches and burgers, cakes, cookies, fudge, and all the other foods that are nothing but pure fat.
I propose MANDATORY abortion for any one caught breeding in their gene pool.
Appears that the american way of life is going down the drain, it will take years of socialism to get people to wake up, took brazil 14 years, Argentina not yet, Peru woke up in 1990′s Cuba just a year ago began returning to Free market econmoy – we will go BUST then see how women are treatedthen MAYBE Just Maybe they will learn their lesson
Mmmmm, I especially like the woman carrying the sign that states her uterus is private property, all while suggesting that the public fund her activities with said uterus. Liberals confuse me to no end.
Free chastity belts!
Why aren’t these gals stopping in from of Mosques – are there none in LA?
One of the signs said my uterus is private property. Fine, then, pay for your own private property. Pay for your own contraceptives and abortions. Don’t expect the American people to pay publicly for your private property. Nothing is free.
“Free” contraceptives and abortions shouldn’t be paid for by those who don’t use them and don’t have them. You can get birth control pills at Wal-Mart for $4 a month. You can’t afford that?
Note the woman with the “Abortion On Demand & Without Apology” t-shirt also has the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party written under the slogan.
What a bunch of stooges for the MSM. Rebels without a Cause. Sad to say that a lot of them wouldn’t fire me up if I had Beer Goggles on. There are homosexuals for good reason; it is a fall back position when they can’t attract the opposite sex. No derision implied; one has to get their satisfaction somehow. It has always been this way for humans
Yup. Whoever thought that the RCP, Robert Avakian’s dragon crew, would last this long? For a general blog that takes up the more-moral-than-though stance of liberals and leftists see http://clarespark.com/2009/12/16/perceptions-of-the-enemy-the-left-looks-at-the-right-and-vice-versa/, if you haven’t already. The blog takes no prisoners.
That’s “witout apology”; can’t you read?
Oh, and in addition to my earlier comment, I’m sure I’m not the only one whose response to that first picture of the, um, young “lady” (I guess?) with the “No, you make me a sandwich” sign was, “Honey, I think you’ve had more than enough sandwiches. Try a Slimfast.”
I know, it’s cruel. But it’s true. And I claim Absolute Moral Authority ™ to say that, because I’m no beanpole, IYKWIMAITYD.
Had to laugh,w/the commenting first rule of avoiding profanities. Also must say, these ladies prove the point, why Liberal women seem so angry. Most are just gruesome…sorry, they just are. Find it hard to believe they are in such great need of birth control.
I don’t know… I see a lot of different signs and a lot of different looking people here:
http://ucbcorps.tumblr.com/post/22129244447/we-rallied-we-marched-we-came-together
But I guess somehow it serves you to be tragically vapid.
Wow, those photos are a great complement to Ringo’s pictures. Thanks for posting them!
I don’t have permission to repost them on PJM, so I recommend everyone click the link and check them out for yourselves.
Of particular interest:
- The first photo, showing someone suffering from what looks like near-terminal anorexia;
- The third photo, with “Vagina and Peni”;
- The tenth photo with the hard-to-interpret “Birth Control > Dick Hardener.”
Does she mean that birth control is “superior to or greater than” dick hardener?
Or perhaps that birth control leads to dick hardening, meaning than if a woman advertises that she takes birth control, that will lead to hardened dicks, because the men then presume she is sexually available?
Or…what? Interesting to hear theories on this.
“Birth Control > Dick Hardener.”
The “>” indicates an open mouth (facing left). Therefore “dick hardener eats birth control”. It’s so obvious and makes perfect sense. Well, as much sense as most of the other signs.
Looks like the female (?) in Zombie’s second picture above stole all the sammiches from the female (?) in the first pic at that link. Eeesh.
That picto-logic is fallacious. We all know they left out the all-important adjective:
“FREE Birth Control > Dick Hardener”
Honestly, I don’t know why people are so snarky. These woman are doing a great amount of good by self selecting themselves out of the reproductive lottery. Who wants these particular specimens hatching babies and poisoning them with their hatred? She clearly values her barrenness above the hardness of dicks, or her limited capacity to harden dicks. And who wouldn’t if you were her? Barrenness is something she CAN do, dick hardening, not so much.
Priorities. Winning.
Yeah, that first photo completely stumped me: what is it?
What she meant by this sign, was that Viagra is covered by insurance plans in all 50 States. Birth control is covered by insurance plans in 28. Birth control is medically necessary for some women to treat problems unrelated to planning or preventing pregnancies and also to prevent pregnancy. One pill is medically necessary and prevents pregnancy….the other is solely used for sex. Yet, somehow Viagra is essential and in all insurance plans…yet birth control is not? Which one is actually medically necessary? I have no problem with Viagra being covered by insurance – I do have a problem with Viagra coverage without birth control coverage.
I suggest you educate yourselves on this issue instead of relying on fellow commentators to get accurate information. No one is asking the government for anything for free. On the contrary, women & men are being responsible and saying access to birth control PREVENTS relying on the government for taxpayer-supported resources, like public education for children.
Insurance should cover basic preventive care, like birth control. That means if you have insurance that you pay for – your medication would be covered. No taxpayer money is involved.
Garbage argument. Viagra was designed for hypertension and arterial disorders. It is still frequently prescribed for that reason. Erections are actually just a side-effect.
There are more non-sexual medical uses for Sildenafil (Viagra) than there are for women’s birth control pills.
Instead of forcing religious institutions to pay for the pill, let’s remove non-sexual Viagra from prescription plans. I’m on board for that.
Birth control is not covered by insurance in all 50 states. Viagra is. Birth control is medically necessary to prevent pregnancies, anemia and other non-pregnancy related issues for women. She is saying that birth control is more of a medically necessary drug to cover under insurance plans than Viagra is.
Which is true. Why is the moderator censoring my comments? They’re informative as hell.
No one is censoring your (or anyone’s) comments. I generally do most (though not all) of the moderation of comments on my threads, but I’ve been gone all day (until now) covering the May Day protests.
There are just as many, if not more, non-sexual uses for VIagra than there are for birth-control pills. It’s a ridiculous straw man argument.
I’m all for non-sexual prescription coverage of estrogen and Sildenafil. If you don’t like that Sildenafil is more often covered than estrogen is for sexual reasons, then let’s remove Sildenafil from coverage when all it’s being prescribed for is erectile dysfunction under the brand Viagra.
I wonder if sister suffragette knows that Utah was the first state to grant voting rights to women. Oh those crazy Mormons.
Uh, no. Wyoming, 1890, beat Utah to it by 6 years. That why it calls itself the Equality State.
Lloyd Peter, Utah had given women the right to vote from the beginning. Women had the right to vote in 1870. The territorial legislature, basically pawns from Washington, took it away as part of the effort to stamp out polygamy, but women got it back again in 1895 after it was written in to the State Constitution.
Uptight Citizens Brigade more like it.
I agree that many of these these ladies are quite photogenic. However, that website isn’t going to post “Sandwich Creature” or her ilk, at least if they want to attract more followers! The question is, what was the ratio of Sandwich Creatures to Homo Sapiens that day?
Lighten up, Francis.
lol, great pictures. So it looks like the Vaginians are still against sex with one’s mother; that’s a good thing, right?
It might be that birth control is what makes them so angry. It is a hormonal pill, after all, and we’re well aware of the influence hormones have on behavior.
I don’t think you are too far off here.
When I was very young and first married, my ex-wife was OVER-prescribed birthcontrol pills by Planned Parenthood. (that was in the 1970s, when we were very naive and thought PP was a legitimate healthcare clinic)
The dosage was massive, and it wrecked my wife’s emotional state. She was continually flying off the handle and getting mad or depressed over insignificant things.
She got a new doctor, and he told her she should never have been given such a strong dosage, and took her off the pill. Her emotional state settled back to normal then.
But we were in a living hell the first couple years of our marriage until we realized what was causing the problems.
Perhaps that is part of the plan. It might be a tad difficult to get emotionally stable women all riled up to go out and protest for rights that they already have and free stuff.
Isn’t it amazing how we tell teenage boys not to take steroids while handing them out like candy to teenage girls?
The ones I think are hilarious are the ones who wouldn’t DREAM of eating beef from cows that have been given hormones, but have been on the Pill for the past two or three decades.
Or they protest against bisphenol-A (synthetic estrogen) in bottles and cans, yet take the pill (synthetic estrogen).
It’s an elective procedure.
Government – read that “taxpayer” – funded procedures should only include matters that are life-threatening, disabling or disfiguring. I don’t care if any of these women want to have an abortion (in fact, given their demonstrated stupidity and acceptance of dependency on government, I have no problem with them not breeding at all) but I don’t want to pay for them.
It’s an elective procedure.
I should no more have my pocket picked to pay for these parasites’ abortions than I should have my pocket picked to pay for their boob jobs, tattoos, tummy-tucks or rhinoplasty. It’s long past time we started expecting these deadbeats to pay their own way.
Too late. It’s a mandate and it’s being implemented. The coverage is a MUST, and everyone will be paying for that, regardless whether you want/need it or not. Regardless of your age, gender and so on.
Welcome to Socialist Republic of America.
I don’t even understand the “Pregnancy is not a punishment for having sex” sign. WTH is that supposed to mean? Is the signholder saying that pregnancy isn’t a punishment? Because that would seem counterproductive to her reproductive proclivities.
Or is she claiming that pregnancy SHOULDN’T be a “punishment,” mirroring our vaunted President’s opinion? Because her sign doesn’t communicate that at all.
I have to say, if I was a man and I was looking for women who don’t appear to have any moral hangups when it comes to casual sex, I’d be hanging around at this parade wearing a Vagina Monologues t-shirt and reading something by Betty Friedan.
I think it means that men shouldn’t be required to pay child support if they don’t want to.
We’ll go with that interpretation!
And if she doesn’t think its a punishment, why is she treating it like its one
I think that sign signified that she is a counter protestor. Her comment seems to play off that comment that Obama made about his daughter being punished by getting pregnant.
If only it were true that she was a counter-protester. Alas, I’m quite sure she was sincere.
Sincere and borderline illiterate. Her sign probably makes perfect sense to her, and she’d say we were idiots for not knowing what the heck she’s yammering about.
I think she should boycott the lunch counter.
It means she can’t distinguish between a punishment and a consequence.
No – it means birth control should be easily accessible for women and men. You should have full control over pregnancy prevention and planning as a sexually active adult.
Womnen (and men) already have full control over their own birth control…one can buy it at any drugstore in America…nobody is denying anybody the right to purchase birth control.
Ha! That’s exactly what I said. Pregnancy is a potential consequence of sex, not a punishment for sex.
In her defense, I’ve heard more than a few anti-birth control types imply that pregnancy is, indeed, a condign *punishment* for sleeping around. Is it a poor choice of rhetoric, or Freudian slip? (Maybe they’re a little less starry-eyed about childrearing than they usually force themselves to be.) Regardless, such conservatives aren’t exactly helping their cause.
You know, these women are even more obsessed with their anatomy than men are with the size of their penis. It’s quite fascinating, in a sad, sickening way. When the entirety of your feminine identity is tied into your ease of access to having unborn children chopped up and sucked out of your “uterus” through your “vagina,” then you aren’t much of a woman. Really, you aren’t. You really DO become an object. Anything sacred about the process of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood is destroyed, and you become nothing but a sex toy. I don’t understand the appeal, I really don’t.
The term “fallacy” (false argument) derives from the same root as “phallus” (false penis). I wonder if a similar term could be created to describe the atonal, self-contradictory arguments of these silly women and their gross anatomy. “Oh my gosh, how can you stand to be out here every day marching in this uterodictory slut fest? Seriously?”
You said it, those women identify more with their genitalia then most men do…which is saying something! Snark aside, those women can express their self-limiting views the way they can because of what they have been taught by the Leftist indoctrination.
1. Religion: Since religion is the tool of the “patriarchy” and the opiate of the masses, there is no need to celebrate the spiritualism of marriage, pregnancy, and childbirth. It is merely a biological inconvenience. As the president as said, pregnancy is a punishment, not a blessing.
2. Culture: Since the Left teaches that family is the construct of the “patriarchy” and the means of limiting women, then children are a liability to a woman’s personal growth and expression. Since those women didn’t need men in their lives, they don’t have the extra income and additional support a husband can bring to child support. Not to mention the extra help his in-laws can provide as well.
3. Employment: Children are unneeded obstacles to the fast-track promotion to a corner office and a big paycheck, just like the old boys’ club of the “patriarchy” have. Children are not needed to give heirs to a successful business, or to provide extra hands to help run a business, especially those that are labor-intensive. (Like, say, farming. That’s what Mexico is for, eh San Francisco?)
4. Environmentalism: The Malthusian Left teaches that the oft-predicted “population bomb” would have a negative impact on Mother Earth and human society, so less is more. Women who prioritize sex as non-encumbering entertainment over encumbering reproduction can have a feel-good reason for their decision.
5. Political: Reasons 1-4 have been supported and implemented by Leftist politicians and activists for many decades now.
So that’s why those women can express the views they did.
“Give me free stuff!”
“No.”
“Wahhhh! You hate me!”
The tantrums of little children.
These ‘women’ are f*cking gross.
That is an understatement. It makes me want to isolate my children from the world. Oh dear God I pray that I can raise my children to have self respect. I didn’t always have it. My worst fear is for my daughter to end up like one of these girls or for my sons to get anywhere near them.
I bet you that a disproportionate number of these women are public school teachers. The only way to protect your kids from suchlike is to teach them right from wrong, good from evil, and how to think for themselves.
And the ones who aren’t teachers likely work for the Department of Health and Social Services.
I was thinking the same thing, then I came across the one in the second-to-last picture. I have to admit to feeling bad for thinking it, but it crossed my mind that she could abort my child any day.
One thing I should add:
I wrote the following paragraphs about the obscene signs held by pro-choice counter-protesters at a pro-life march last year in SF. It remains true about the signs in Ringo’s pictures:
“The “text,” to get all postmodern, is to focus on women’s ownership of their own bodies and their individual rights of self-determination. The “subtext” is to intentionally destroy any sense of propriety in the proceedings, to use vulgarity and sexuality to rob the other side of its innocence and somehow in the process thereby drag the pro-lifers into the gutter where prim virginity is no longer a source of power but rather something to be mocked.
The fatal flaw in this horribly ill-conceived two-pronged strategy is that that subtext totally undermines the text, and vice versa, so that the argument ends up canceling itself out. Any legitimacy your point of view might have had instantly evaporates when you start yelling “Cunt cunt cunt!” in your opponent’s face. You can try to win by having a rational debate; alternately, you can try to win by punching below the belt; but if you try to do both simultaneously, you are sure to lose.”
Yeah. Elementary school-yard mentality isn’t a good premise for either side of the issue of abortion.
THANK YOU. This. It’s disgusting to me, listening to these women-type-things go out there chanting crass biological words mixed with coarse vulgarity and acting like it makes them EMPOWERED. It’s like a small child who’s proud of being able to use the potty, and who wants to show you the *le cough* fruit of his or her labors.
The difference is the small child has done something genuinely laudatory and just needs to get over the perceived specialness.
The vulgar chanting sluts-on-parade, on the other hand, think that every new slogan is an opportunity to once again show off their sh!t to the world.
As I suspected would happen, the “No, you make me a sandwich” photo is already starting to go viral:
http://theothermccain.com/2012/04/30/the-million-ugly-women-march/
The ‘Million Ugly Women’ March
Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
I’m still waiting for one of the ‘studs’ who banged one of these brawds to come forward and admit they hit it.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
No, YOU make her a sandwich. She’s too bloody ugly for me.
She probably wants a FREE sammich, too. Because expecting her to pay for her own is an obvious attempt to oppress her.
And it had better only use locally grown and produced organic foodstuffs, from the bread to the lettuce to the mayonnaise!
But it has to be vegan mayonnaise; nothing made with real egg.
And no meat either, obviously. Tofu shaped to LOOK like a slice of ham, though, would be okay, provided it’s flavored to taste like ham, too. But only using, again, organic, locally produced, all natural pig flavoring.
You’re not willing to do all that just to make Tubby Betty Rubble a sandwich? WOMAN HATER!!!
Laugh-’til-you-cry worthy quote from the above-linked page:
“There isn’t enough Viagra and Cialis on the planet to enable any man to do the deed necessary to impregnate such hideous creatures.”
They won’t be happy until they can have drive-thru abortions.
Next up, McBortions on demand…plus, a side of fries and a forever milkshake and a toy for your un-aborted kiddie in the backseat.
Oh make it happen!
Idiocracy here we come.
The one argument I’ve made in the comments sections of liberal sites (which drives them absolutely bonkers with rage) is this:
If abortion is legal and yet optional, as it is now, then this is certain to occur:
- Women who believe abortion is OK will tend to have abortions.
- Women who believe abortion is not OK will tend to not have abortions.
I think we can all agree on that.
But since, as liberals love to point out, everybody has sex and the sexual urge cannot be denied, then women who don’t believe in abortion will sometimes get pregnant and when they do, they will carry their babies to term and give birth. But the pro-abortion women will tend to abort their children and not give birth.
The end result is that anti-abortion women tend to have more babies than pro-abortion women. We see the already confirmed when comparing the size of Catholic and Mormon families to non-religious families. Those who have a pro-life ideology tend to have many more kids than those who don’t.
Next: it’s been demonstrated over and over through studies (and common sense and anecdotally) that parents tend to impart their values to their children. Atheist parents raise little atheist kids, Christian parents raise Christian kids, criminal parents raise criminal kids, and altruistic parents raise altruistic kids. Everyone knows this to be true, we see it in day-to-day life.
So that pro-life parents will tend to raise pro-life kids. (And vice versa.)
Except we already learned from the beginning of the argument that pro-life parents are giving birth to a lot more kids than pro-choice parents, who instead choose to have abortions and go childless.
Thus, the end result of liberal abortion laws: Progressives and liberals will abort themselves into extinction, while there will be a population explosion of pro-life youngsters.
Which is exactly what i think we’re starting to see now as an after-effect of Roe vs. Wade.
The pace of generations and of social change is slow, but little by little there are tectonic shifts. Catholics, Hispanics, and other pro-life constituencies and swelling in numbers. But places like San Francisco are practically child-free (it has the lowest percentage of children in the nation). Over time, this will change the social make-up of the nation, and hence its ideological preference.
Roe v Wade made have unintentionally spelled the end of the progressive movement in America, because it allowed for self-extinction.
…When I make this argument, it drives them so crazy (because they know it’s true), that it almost inevitably results in someone suggesting that abortions be made compulsory, to even things out.
LOL! Zomb, it really is hilarious when you think of it that way. Now if the tree huggers would just do the same thing to ‘save the beetle butts and spotted owl hineys’ life would be good again!
Well, pro-abortionists will just do what homosexuals do: recruit their enemies’ children to their cause.
You just discovered the reason for compulsory public schooling with leftist teachers. No opting out allowed! We need access to your kids’ minds.
If the San Francisco gays were smart they would divorce themselves from the Planned Parenthood gay baiters and walk with the pro lifers. I know it would be a hard pill to swallow. From what I understand about California’s demographics, young families are fleeing the state. So the question is, who is going to take care of them when they are old. Even if they go into a nursing home, who is going to work there? Something to think about. You don’t have to hate gays to respect life.
That is why they hate homeschoolers. They want my children to learn their agenda. They put a nice little label on it that says “science”, then you open up the package and find out it is filled with sinister agendas. The book “Ecoscience” is a clear example of this agenda. The fact that Obama picked someone so scientifically incompetent and sinister to be his Scientism Czars speaks volumes about his judgement and motivations.
That’s exactly what I was going to say, Zombie.
The kids still get funneled through the higher education system to get the good jobs. At that point the inculcation of liberalism hits.
why is it that everybody…both left and right…is compelled to drag gay folks into the middle of every issue ? seems to me that gay men would be the last people to cite when discussing the vagina wars.
i won’t even touch the ancient ‘gay people recruit’ canard. ugh.
Nobody is “dragging” gays into “every” issue. However, gays are “dragging” themselves into *this* issue. I’ve experienced it myself at prayer rallies in front of Planned Parenthood’s. Clearly, we were not there to protest against gays. But they sure turned out in force against us!
It does makes sense, as they correctly saw the big picture, that abortion is merely one battlefront in the larger war.
First of all, the idea that gays are unwillingly “dragged into” the debate is laughable. They happily inject themselves into almost every discussion. And they get irate when their input is not immediately appreciated.
Secondly if anybody IS guilty of “dragging” them into situations it would be the Left.
Finally, the gay recruiting thing is real. No, they’re not necessarily recruiting kids to BE gay but they are always trying to attract and/or coerce kids to embrace the gay agenda and, more specifically, to join in the browbeating of all those (including their own family members) who don’t kowtow to the agenda.
The “gay movement” uses every opportunity to dangle genitalia where it gets the most exposure to illustrate what a large movement they have.
I know that statement is facetious, but after you laugh about it for a while, you realize how much more often it’s happening.
And yes; Hard to believe that some of these creatures work for government organizations that approve/disapprove adoption for other creatures like themselves.
Mental illness is cool.
Because it’s easy, like fat jokes. It doesn’t take much forethought to throw it out there, just a working mouth or set of fingers, because there will almost alway be someone who thinks it’s funny.
This hypothesis has been around for a while now:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roe_effect
I know I didn’t invent the hypothesis; I just love to taunt liberals with it. For some reason, it frequently elicits a totalitarian reaction.
Showing a liberal a Twinkie elicits a totalitarian reaction. Mentioning puppies to a liberal elicits a totalitarian reaction. Playing a Wagnerian opera for a liberal elicits a totalitarian reaction.
Someone should make it into a drinking game. The drinking game, when liberals become aware of it, would probably elicit a totalitarian reaction.
I think it’s their raison d’être.
For maximum “head-’splosion”, imply that there is a secret “Operation Liberal Eradication” program, headed up by Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, GWB, Sarah Palin and the Koch brothers, in which liberals have been encouraged to kill themselves off in just these ways (“Operation No-Mas(s)” implemented gay marriage in Massachusetts; there aren’t pesky contraceptive failures when both liberals are the same sex!).
It’s like Mark Steyn said: the future belongs to those who show up.
Decades ago, at age 17, I figured that whole causal chain out. Could be one of the reasons they push the “Carbon footprint” restrictions.
I also think it’s one of the reasons they tried to foist contraceptives on the Catholic Church this past year.
And Zombie’s right; it’s loads of fun to point out that the one thing both liberals and conservatives agree upon is that there are just too damn many liberals: we want them to change their minds and they want to kill themselves off, pushing contraceptives, ESCR, abortion, euthanasia, gay marriage. They wouldn’t have to spend all that time, money and effort on voter fraud (ACORN, etc) and intimidation (New Black Panthers) if they had reproduced. I’m pretty sure that I’m not supposed to start up or contribute to a collection to get these women “spayed”, being Catholic and all, but it sure is tempting.
At least my boner is covered by insurance.
Mine too. Allstate. Limp/semi-limp/full-staff.
“You’re in good hands with Allstate.”
Ah! The old “if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament” line!
Hey, hag, it IS a sacrament! Check out the book “The Sacrament of Abortion.” It was written by a witch named Ginette Paris who tells us (happily!) that abortion is a sacrifice to the moon goddess Artemis.
A nutty book you say? Yeah, well, there are doctors in Canada who gave a copy to every woman having an abortion.
RKae, I just want to know who in the hell is knocking these sea hags up in the first place?! Damn.
“Nobody’s ugly at closing time.”
I don’t subscribe to it, but there are most certainly guys who do, and they’re generally not what you’d call a good catch.
Their looks are birth control. Sheesh! It is a celibate life for me given these pictures.
Cthulhu Mythos Deep Ones, I’d guess.
Ah! That’s what these creatures remind me of! Not the Deep Ones per se, but if ever there was evidence for the existence of shoggoths, these “women” would be it.
I read that book. It is one of the scariest damn books I have ever read, and evil leaps off of every page. Even if you’re not a theist, its chilling to see someone go to such depths to use religious language to justify something that is so obviously unethical.
None of their slogans is original. I’ve seen those signs for years now–and probably those same protestors.
Could abortion be a weird form of Darwinism?
Could pretty people be apt to keep their fetuses viable into baby hood vs. ugly she-beasts who choose to abort their hideous offspring?
I know that’s a terrible thing to say but I was just wondering aloud here…(pardon my vulgarity).
I agree with Zombie’s reply to #11. If we legalize abortion, the abortionists will abort themselves out of existence. Likewise, gay marriage. If we legalize it and remove the societal stigma, instead replacing it with a stigma of gays marrying straights, they will unbreed themselves out of existence as well!
That is, unless homosexuality is a choice, as I firmly believe it is.
since most gay people had straight parents, wouldn’t it be necessary to eliminate all heterosexuals to ‘breed gay people out of existence’ ??
sexual orientation is a choice? c’mon, dude.
besides, isn’t the issue here supposed to be abortion? what’s this obsession with gay folks, regardless of the topic at hand?
Mentioning gays in a discussion constitutes an obsession? c’mon, dude.
el polacko,
Maybe there needs to be something akin to Godwin’s Law when it comes to continually bringing up “the gays”. We could name it “Polacko’s Law”.
I know it’s an old saying but; I bet they are glad their momma didn’t get an abortion!!
We’ve seen this all before.
There is not a man I know that would have sex with any of these malcontent miltant lesbians.
Interesting that public money, via the tax-payer, is required for providing what is claimed to be a private matter!
Mmm… no, pregnancy is not punishment for sex.
It seems like about half of the “pro-choice” women in that event were not of breeding age. What are they worried about?
I’m getting two messages here…… and maybe I’m wrong but, It’s my body, it’s my choice and then……….but you have to pay for it! Do they have any idea how crazy that sounds. They’re right……….it is their body and it is their choice but for sh*t sake then put on your big girl panties and handle it yourself. You can’t say I’m an independent woman and I want things my way and then tell us we’re going to pay for it! For heaven’s sake GROW UP! You can’t have both ways!
Spot frickin’ on ladyonamishn!
‘MY CHOICE’ translates: “You PAY for my sexy times, my regrettable pregnancy times and my STD times and if I DO have a baby, my BABY TIMES TOO”.
Major effing eye-roll?
Sure they can. And they having it, I mean both ways. Thanks to this president.
I love how they assume all Republican’s are men.
They are clearly class acts.
Did you notice most of them are White? Do they know that the founder of Planned Parenthood was a eugenicist? She believed non-White people should not exist. She also believed that anyone with physical or mental limitations should not exist. So they support racism.
FC, you are a swit ginyuss (sorry, I have ‘Sweet genius’ on the brain right now lol).
Seriously though, isn’t it pathetic that the eugenicists have a secure foothold on the minds of the very people they want ‘gone’?
where to begin?
No, I’m not going to respect that one woman’s vagina (why should I?) No, pregnancy isn’t a punishment for sex—it’s the natural result of it! (Can you say “Reproduction” ladies? I knew you could!) And, no, I’m not going to make that one chick a sandwich—she looks as if she’s already had too many.
Look—we know you all love your vay-jay-jays, and think they’re the most wonderful, awesome things in the world, but could you please, please, pretty please, stop demanding we support them with our tax dollars? Or, putting it another way, please get your precious ovaries off my wallet, my religious beliefs and out of my face already!
AMEN, BB!
– for your pleasures.
p.s. Will May Day shut down S.F. tomorrow?
At the age of 46, why is it I have never met a liberal woman that actually enjoyed and liked being a female?
Class and respectability have clearly left the building.
Where can I go to vote these lunatics off of the island?
Regressive is right, and it’s the true direction of today’s version of “progressivism.” These women want to trade one form of patriarchy (men) with another (government.)
They’re even bringing back the New Eugenics, with “medical” studies on neurology, and discerning signs of conservatism, over-simplification, fear and xenophobia in the brain. Scary.
Women benefit from the same thing minorities, immigrants, and white males benefit from: FREEDOM.
Good Lord, no wonder so many liberal men are gay. Are these *really* the type of women that worry about getting pregnant and are too stupid to make a $10 a month birth control decision on their own?
What the heck happened to our country that people are this stupid?
You can do whatever the f@^k you want with your uterus, just don’t ask me to pay for it.
Gad, what a gruesome group. I have a hard time believing that 99 percent of those women would ever have need of an abortion or even contraception.
Remember Rush Limbaugh’s 35 Undeniable Truths? Number 24 is: Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society. More truth than not to that.
Seriously. These ‘women’ look worse than biker bitches. I can’t even think of one decent looking hetero guy who would go for any of these kooks. I swear to effffffin’ GAWT_DANG that most women of the LEFTIST varietal are seriously FUGLY/FAT/FORGOTTEN or as I callz ‘em, the FFFs or more politely… “The Trip Effs” as it were.
Damn. A whole sea of ugly wombs demanding that their wombs shall remain baby free. Oh da irony!
Fromthe looks of those women I don’t think getting pregnant is going to happen anytime soon.
They don’t need free birth control, it looks like at least some of them were born with it. Get the guy who’s suing BMW to one of these rallies, he’ll be cured in a second.
“Abortion is a right” — yet gun ownership isn’t, even though it’s specifically mentioned?
“Stay out of my uterus” — Then why do you keep ordering me to maintain it?
“My body my choice” — If that is true then why do you need federal regulation and funding?
“Abortion on demand” — Ok, here is a loaded .45, when do YOU plan to abort your mother’s “punishment”
“Pregnancy is a punishment” — No dear it’s the biological result of sex
“the war on women” — If the cost of gas, food, taxes and utilities are keeping you in poverty then perhaps it’s the government you want more of that’s waging war on you.
“free birth control” — here is a quarter sweetie, trust me it works, or YOU could try just saying NO once in a while.
Like all commies they are useless idiots, totally clueless, and have a very odd aversion to even the slightest glimmer of reality. If you place a glass wall in front of any of them they would pound on for eternity just to avoid walking around it.
They’d stand there pounding their chubby little fists against the glass even if you made it single pane glass and put a nice big rock within arm’s reach. “Expect us to have to work to access the world on the other side of the wall? Are you crazy? Woman hater!”
Why do lesbians agitate for abortion? It reminds me of a line from Chesterton:
“But Higgins is a Heathen,
And to lecture rooms is forced,
Where his aunts, who are not married,
Demand to be divorced.”
http://www.gilbertmagazine.com/page_29.html
Feminism was nutty from the get-go. Chesterton’s other observation was… “Women took to the streets wmth signs saying ‘We will not be dictated to’ and then they all took jobs as secretaries.”
From the looks of most of these “women”, I’d say that most of them won’t have to worry about having an abortion; their looks alone are a form of abstinence.
To the woman in the picture stating she will bleed on everything I love without birth control: No you won’t.
I have absolutely no problem paying my “fair share” for these women’s abortions. God forbid that they should reproduce.
Given that it was their choice to have sex without using contraception which got them pregnant, I’d say your “fair share” of the cost of the abortion was exactly $0.00.
Get the beam out of your own eye. Do you not know that choosing to finance their sin makes you a partner in it? And if that were not enough, you invoke God as a justification! While I shutter to think of what those children would become, perhaps those children would see the error of their mothers and be repulsed, or even that the mother’s heart shall be moved with compassion when she lays eyes on her child.
Um, I have a question . . .
If these women are so intent on not having a man tell them what to do with their “vaggies” and they want abortion free and on demand, . . .
Why are they having sex with men?
Only a man can get a woman pregnant correct?
I mean, they have to give permission for a man to be at or near or )!( their “vaggies” to have sex, so why are they so hateful towards the baby?
ok, maybe three questions.
Never commented here before but after reading this article I felt obliged to.
1) None of these gals look like ones I’d pursue (though one or two didn’t look bad with the glasses they were wearing) but I guess some other guys out there would/have/are? There’s a sobering thought.
2) Somebody else pointed it out, but how ironic is it that after everything women have gone through to get where they are today these gals are clamoring about the spot between their legs being the all-important “women’s issue”? Men don’t even have to say a word and they’re willingly coming out and saying, “My existence, importance, and unique desires as a woman actually ARE all about what I’ve got downstairs.”
3) The “if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament” comment is nothing but a cutesy fallacy, as is most of the drivel these folks tend to spew. The remark assumes sexual proclivities on the part of men as a whole that exist only due to the fact that they CAN’T get pregnant – see Darwin (those lefties love science, don’t they?) and sexual selection. (Long story short: the sex that bears the higher cost of parenting will be the sex that, by and large, determines when sex happens and as such will be the pursued sex.) Take away the relative freedom from risk men biologically enjoy and you take away, literally, what makes a man a man. This new “man” (if you could call him that) would most likely NOT have anything approximating the sexual inclinations that the feminists love to harp on.
4) Pregnancy is as much a “punishment” for sex as obesity is for overindulgence or improved well-being is for exercising and maintaining a healthy diet – in other words, it’s a natural consequence; nothing more and nothing less.
5) I can’t imagine anybody making that gal a sandwich. Still, I guess she’s a step up from Andrea Dworkin.
Maybe the spot between their legs is the only thing they can agitate about because there’s nothing to consider in the brain housing group.
The late George Carlin often said that most women who are against abortion are women that you wouldn’t want to (have sex with) in the first place. I find it’s the opposite. It’s women that DO favor abortion that are women I wouldn’t want to have sex with.
I wish I was there, so I can hold up a sign saying: DON’T SPREAD YOUR LEGS IF YOU CAN’T HATCH THE EGGS!
Yeah, funny how they say “My body, my choice,” and then expect everyone to fund their infanticide and slutty lifestyle.
Did anyone else notice that the one where the sign said “Abortion on demand and without apology” the word “without” was spelled wrong? Btw, when they stand before God, they WILL apologize for their abortions–a lot! And what is the deal with that stupid slogan “keep your rosaries off my ovaries?” What do rosaries have to do with anything?
People who are pro-abortion all have one thing in common–they’re already born.
“And what is the deal with that stupid slogan “keep your rosaries off my ovaries?”
A rather lame attempt to attack the Catholic approach to the birth control issue.
Anyone having sex with these viragoes is too lazy to masturbate.
Pretty much what you can see at any leftwing rally: People who show every absence of mental health.
Something that really pisses me off about all of these fake azz protests in SF and LA is that they are ALWAYS sporting signs from the freaking “ANSWER Coalition.” Every lefty protest there is. Whether it’s for illegal immigrants or anti war or the latest fake “war on women/children/kittens” the signs are always from the “ANSWER Coalition.”
Now, do the newspapers or the TV news ever make note of this and start reporting on who and what the “ANSWER Coalition” are? No. The same Marxist crackpots behind all of these campaigns and the media have no interest whatsoever in finding out why. They don’t have a single word to say about it. The media just report the protests as completely grassroots righteous demonstration. Isn’t that interesting?
Typical media response to your question:
“SHUT UP, that’s why.”
Their bias and lack of basic journalistic principle would be astounding if it wasn’t so d@mn OBVIOUS.
From the look of things, the vast majority of these women are victims of genetics and poor dietary choices, not politics. For my part, I wouldn’t go anywhere near their regions of feminine privilege – even in scuba gear.
To quote Iowahawk:
You know who else limits your access to free contraceptives? The shoplifting cameras at Walgreens.
The real war on women is the one that has killed upwards of 26,000,000 baby girls since abortion was decriminalized 40 years ago.
Yes.
Let’s be OBVIOUS here and point out once again, that… these women who complain about men, threaten to go on a sex strike, or otherwise remove themselves from our lusty wants, as precisely the ones whom you have no interest in having sex with.
It is 0315, I have just spent 9 hours surveying alligators (it’s mating season and the best time to survey them). Zombie, I love your essays but, Dude I saw 800 better heads tonight than I just saw in your entire essay. Very disturbing Brother. And my feisty young ladies wanted to have sex; bitten, battered, and beaten up sex, but nonetheless sex. No they don’t want birth control, just happy little gator-lings, and do not mess with their babies. What a world (cue sinking witch).
What on earth does alligator mating look like? Biting? mauling? What?
I’m not being flip- it’s the sort of thing that ends up in an adventure book as one of the really scary scenes. you know- the wrong tourist goes to the wrong part of the everglades?
Yep, my daughter observed that animals take much better care of their babies than many human beings.
I think some of these women would demand free in vitro fertalization treatments just so they could have another free abortion.
What I don’t undrstand is why these “women” are so worked up over birth control and abortion when I cant see anyone ever being drunk enough to have sex with them? I mean sure I could understand women who actually have a chance of ever being laid caring about this issue, but there wasn’t a sngle woman in any of these pictures who looks like anyone would ever touch them, even with someone else dick.
I don’t see why I should have to pay for these women’s birth control…..when it is very unlikely it’s even gonna get USED for its intended purpose in the first place.
Is this the same bunch that was agitating for a “sex strike” until they got their birth control and abortions paid for, too? Bwa-ha-ha-ha!
My gosh, what an ugly herd of cows. That they would ever need birth control stretches the imagination; men could not be that desparate. As for free abortion on demand, ladies, I would have heartily recommended it to your moms. I know, I know, I am crossing the line, but we have to think of the health of our gene pool.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find that the first time machine ever invented will be invented by a woman. The inventor will probably be inspired to invent the machine because she is sick to death of listening to some foul-mouthed, classless guttertramp in the next cubicle prattle on and on about the superiority afforded to her by her vagina. So the industrious inventor will stay up for hours, days, weeks at a time trying to invent a time machine for the sole purpose of going back in time to prevent the filthy, crude little feminista from ever being conceived.
Um, they can pay for their own abortion. But if they want to have one, can find a doctor willing to perform it, then let them have it as it is now in the first trimester. If they made a proper decision or if they made a bad decision it is not my job to preempt God and judge them myself. God will surely judge them quite adequately. Furthermore, I do not see it as my job here on Earth to prevent others from making damned (literally) fools of themselves. That is what free will is about. Being good because you have no choice does not count because the evil is still in the person who’d do wrong if they could. God deals with all that most adequately. I just shrug and choose better friends. If asked, of course, I recommend against abortion at virtually any cost. And I will NOT pay for anybody’s abortion, myself. They must pay for it themselves or find insurance that features added cost and an abortion rider.
{^_^}
If you think you are old enough to have sex then you are old enough to pay for your own abortions. Some of those signs said not to tread on your ovaries. Well you know you are absolutely right. We don’t want to touch them. Your ovaries are your responsibility, not mine. That would be like requiring you to pay for somebody’s cigarette habit. I am not going to pay for your abortions, because you were not smart enough to figure out how NOT to get pregnant. Da-ha!
My advice to these women; get a job and pay for your own protection. And if you’re unlucky enough to get pregnant, take care of it yourself. We don’t need offspring from your kind.
I would just like to say that I am totally, completely, 100% okay with these women going on a sex strike.
The pro-choice and feminist theme of this march is a ruse. These women belong to the party of socialism and liberation. As one commenter already noted the ‘abortion on demand’ t-shirt woman also has revcom.us on her shirt.
These vile scum are communists and this march is about promoting communism. Thus, the demands for taxpayer funded stuff.
Bullseye.
It looks to me like many of these young women are college age. I was a radical feminist in college, having been indoctrinated from high school on with the liberal agenda although i was raised in a conservative/libertarian household. It all goes back to what Ann Coulter said, lots of people are liberal until they grow up, move out of their parent’s house or out of the college dorm, get their first job, start paying taxes, get married and have kids. I’m not sure the number but I think a good number of people quickly realize they are at the very least libertarian if not conservative. Many of these young ladies have never carried life in their wombs. How you think about abortion changes a lot after you have felt life in your body. You would have to be made of stone to not have it change you and make you more protective of life. I’m not quite on board with banning abortions completely due to my libertarian streak but I do believe in restrictions on it like our recently passed mandatory ultrasound in Virginia, parental consent, spousal notification, partial birth abortion ban.
In the name of feminism, they demand free handouts of the things that enable them to flee from what diffentiates them from men.
Upstanding men do not find this attractive. I’m curious as to whether these protester expect it to be.
I commented on this post several times yesterday, yet I feel possessed to comment again because of that one stupid sign: “I will bleed on everything you love w/o (without) birth control.”
I’ve been pondering it on and off for the last 24 hours or so, and I’ve come to a conclusion –
No, that sign makes absolutely no sense.
It makes even LESS sense than the seemingly contradictory “Pregnancy is not a punishment for having sex” sign that I mentioned in an earlier comment. At least that sign could be construed as a completely botched attempt to say, “I shouldn’t be punished with a baby because I have sex.” An idiotic statement bordering on non sequitir, but still, you can see what she was getting at.
But the “I will bleed on everything you love” chick is just looney tunes. What on Earth is she talking about? Is she making reference to her menstrual cycle? Because the hormonal element of birth control pills can be beneficial to women with erratic and extreme cycles. But you have to know something about women’s menstrual cycles to even glean THAT much from freak chick McHalfHair’s asinine sign.
So… okay. Um… whatever? What does that even have to do with anything, creepy menstrual chick? You’re basically threatening to smear me and mine with your menstrual blood because you refuse to pony up $10 a month for your own pills? Is that what I’m supposed to be gathering from your crudely made, crudely phrased sign?
Or are you a cutter, and are threatening to cut yourself and bleed all over my stuff in the aftermath? Because if that’s the case, it’s just further proof that you’re mentally unstable.
My point is, if you’re going to make a protest sign, at least make SOME attempt at communicating a message that makes sense to, say, 85% of those who see it. Okay? Can you do that much? I realize that the brain matter of the typical leftist protester is small enough to barely fill a teaspoon, and when you’ve chemically fried that teaspoon-full of brain matter by dying half of your hair bright aquamarine you’ll end up working with even LESS mental capacity; but come on. At least make a LITTLE effort. It’s just embarrassing otherwise.
My take on her sign was this:
Men see menstrual blood as a contaminant — feminists love to point out that this has been a foundational patriarchal belief in Judeo-Christian culture dating back to the Old Testament and the rules for the segregation of menstruating women.
So, given that men are all repulsed by menstrual cooties, she decided to use that fear to her advantage: She will squat over every single thing that the men around her find precious — the Coors bottle, the Chevy Corvette, the 9-iron — and drip contaminant on it all…that is, unless they cave in to her demand, and pay for her to stick a vacuum cleaner up her love canal.
They’re such charming little angels, aren’t they?
Oh.
I was thinking, “Lessee, first you get mad that you can’t get what you want, so you trespass on my property and start smashing things. Then I don’t like that and pretty soon, you’re bleeding on my stuff and I call 911 to report that ‘Someone is injured!*’. Sounds about right.”
*I’ve been warned that you always demonstrate concern for the dead felon when you call 911.
Oh dear. Is that a requirement? The concern? Because I don’t think I’d pass that test.
Darn.
I read lately (post-Zimmerman) that if you should happen to take advantage of your Second Amendment rights in defense of your home and/or property, you should 1) if possible, wait until the perp is in your house and 2) call 911 afterward and exhibit some concern for the room-temp former perp’s physical status.
The real war on women is the intense hatred of what women are biologically created for: the ability to create and nurture life. Instead of respecting women and the female body, this war denigrates the sanctity of life, the beauty of pregnancy, encourages women not to have children (who are parasites and robbers of freedom), but if they do conceive, to kill the baby as quickly as possible. And if all this fails and the woman decides to become a mother, she is only respected if she puts the child in daycare and pursues a career where she can pay someone else to raise her child. This war looks down upon any woman who would waste her talents and potential by staying home to nurture her child. Or at best patronize her by saying “Its the hardest job in the world!”. Oh, please.
I love being a woman. I thank God for creating me exactly as I am. I love that my body was designed to sustain new life. I love that I was able to bring children into the world (thankfully with a loving and protective man, of course). I loved being with my children as they grew up. I am not stupid, ill informed, or brainwashed. Stop hating and disrespecting the beauty and honor of being female. That is the REAL war on women!
AMEN x 100!
I’ve come to this comment section late, and perhaps HeartArt you will not read this, but, I appreciate your post most of all and you really have come to the heart of the issue. It’s a bit sad how many comments there are about ugliness, when the real ugliness is what you describe. Thank you for so succinctly proposing what the real war on women is all about and has been since the inception of the current feminist movement. Getting past the anger that has fueled this war, and being able to come together as human beings, to address social and moral issues that have existed forever will never be achieved as things are now. I have unfortunately been on both sides of the issue, and my shame and guilt for having had two abortions in the early ’70′s has remained with me to this day and has never been assuaged. I have two great children, both of whom are in the military, and their courage makes my shame ever more real every day. I really like men and appreciate that which is unique about both sexes. I went to work outside of the home when my son, the youngest, was in high school and my daughter was 18. I worked with a lot of men, as a crew member in the film industry, and have always enjoyed it. None of this is out of the ordinary, but if anyone wanted any of my perspective on this, it would be that abortion is a bad choice, and one you will never forget.
Dang, considering all their anger, I really feel sorry for their turkey basters.
Wow every one of them is some genetic experiment gone horribly awry, they can do and say whatever they want as long as they stay the hell out of my wallet.
Pay for it yourself, hags.
I think a good idea would be for these protesters to march down to the Occupy Farm. I am pretty sure there are sandwiches there and it would be good for them. I noticed the farmer types looked healthier than the marching Uterii.
They could turn the signs around and write stuff like “Keep off my Lettuce” “Green Beans on Demand” or “Why does the GOP Hate Arugula?”
I would just about advocate tax-supported funding for these ugly bitches to have their freebie birth control to keep them from contributing to the gene pool. Never have I seen such a vivid display of complete, utter stupidity. One cannnot be independent all the while one asks someone else to pay for one’s needs! These fat sows don’t see it, though. Morons.
So, does that mean I can now kill people in the street? I can label it “post-partum abortion” if that makes everyone feel better. It’s ultimately the same. In both cases the victims are humans. Yeah, sorry, but a human fetus is exactly that: human. The DNA says so. It’s also alive, as proven by the cell growth. Whether it’s self-aware or not is irrelevant. Self-awareness can’t be proven scientifically, not even for adults. So that leaves us with… well, nothing really. Either we’re allowed to kill other people or we’re not.
Plus if babies are punishments… what about old people? They cost a lot of money, even more than babies. What about handicapped people? They, too, aren’t really cheap for society. It’s a very slippery slope.
I’ve been calling that concept a “Postpartum Procedure” for years now. It really drive’s ‘em nuts when I do. Glad to see some parallel creativity here. (Note: Sarcasm, like humor, is wasted on those too dense to appreciate it. They prove it every day.)
They want free abortion? Nothing is free. Something else the taxpayer has to pick up the tab on. Yeah, that’s real independence. Get pregnant and make someone else pay for the abortion. Idiots.
It is interesting that these women carry signs that say no apology. Well, they are totally wrong about that. Someone needs to do an apology.
There are 163 million females missing from this planet. The number is growing daily and I do not think at this continue rate the planet can sustain this murder on females.
Pro choice is little more than a cover for female gender genocide. It is murdering off the females at an alarming rate. It has to be stopped.
What woman in her right mind wants female genocide?
Point out that a potential woman has to pay for her “freedom of choice”, and they all have the same answer. Silence.
I’m convinced. I support free abortions for these “ladies” in particular… draw them in with:
“Abort Often! It’s Free!” That’ll make us ALL happy.
Has not anyone noticed the woman marching just to the left (the right camera-eye view) of those in the very last pic, above, carrying the red banner: “Unite Against the War on Women” with her own banner which reads: ” Grateful to the Women before me,” obviously totally unfazed by the savage irony–the total message disconnect–the cognative dissonance of it all–that, if the abortionists had their way, there would have been NO “women before me.” ? Or am I hopelessly myopic and is it only male fetuses that the femministas desire to abort?
Of all the “warfares” launched by leftists, the class warfare is the most insidious, the racial warfare is the most invidious and the gender warfare is the most ridiculous.
Sergio Leone could have filmed this march, “The Goof, the Bad and the Ugly”.
This march is about making sandwiches? If you don’t give me free stuff, I will bleed on you?
What woman, who actually has a relationship with…you know…an actual man…thinks this way?
Other than a henpecked castrati, who would enjoy the company of The Permanent Vagenda crowd? What is the coupling here…The Angry Inch meets the The Raging Dried Apricot?
Perhaps the anger is mostly projection and retribution for not getting male attention in the first place. Free stuff demanded by the unloved.
Pregnancy is not a punishment for having sex, having to stay for breakfast is punishment enough I imagine with this crowd. Hell hath no fury like a leftist woman spawned.
Wow, Don Rickles is now a commenter at PJM!
“My uterus is private property” written on a sign for PUBLIC display.
Oh the irony.
The ladies in those photos remind me of something that Tammy Bruce once said about her former allies in the National Organization for Women (NOW):
“During my time with the National Organization for Women one of the (many) things that disturbed me during national board meetings was the fact that many of the women seemed to be allergic to bathing, and especially frightened of the concept of “grooming.”
“The simplest things reveal you are in a room full of unhappy people—many were significantly overweight, and by grooming I mean engaging in the simple act of running a brush though your hair, brushing one’s teeth, visiting a dentist if need be (at least on occasion), and simply caring enough about yourself to at least attempt to appear healthy.
“When I would dare to bring up the issue of appearance (as gently as one could imagine), that notion, of course, was rejected as “surrendering to the male dominated view of female beauty.” Hey, how about surrendering to not being repulsive? That helps every cause, whatever it may be.”

Although in fairness, I did see plenty of folks at Tea Party rallies who could stand to lose weight themselves.
NTS, obesity is endemic in the US. It’s a major health problem that costs gazillions of dollars in lost revenue due to sick days, cost of treating & maintaining the associated diseases (diabetes being among the most noteworthy).
Like deviancy, but in a mirror image, the federal government has defined obesity down as well. In other words, what used to be considered as a “Normal” weight for your height and skeletal structure is now considered to be overweight. In a way, it’s like the subtle approach used by politicians and the legal profession (which are disproportionally represented in the political sphere) to ban firearms ownership. If you have too many “Law Abiding” citizens demanding their second amendment rights, you just pass more onerous laws that will turn them into criminals. “Why, it’s so easy, even a government school dropout could do it.”
Dang, considering all their anger, I feel sorry for their turkey basters.
Why should anyone else respect you when you obviously don’t respect yourselves.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
“If men could get pregnant, abortions would be a sacrament.”
No, it just means some men would piss and moan at the same time.
I’m missing three children that would be here if I were the one that had gotten pregnant. No rights in that matter.
I’m sorry. PLEASE choose a woman with integrity next time.
Let them have all the abortions they want: I don’t want their spawn around. Whatever the sin might be, it is on their head and not mine. Judaism is very good on assigning blame or not to people living in corrupt societies.
Now they have opened the door again, discussing the death of potential useless eaters. Once that door is open they might not like the results. If we base the survival of others on our desires, we have no complaint when they define us out of existence, so that we might not cumber the land.
Judaism (in all forms, despite some political pandering) also has very little against abortion and a lot more allowing it so I wouldn’t call it a sin in most respects. It’s more of a Christian problem.
When I saw the “My uterus is private property” sign, my first thought was, “Then you owe a duty of care to invitees, genius.” Oh, ignorance of the law, you make it so easy to taunt liberals for their ill-considered signage.
Not to mention, the owners of private property are personaly responsible for the cost of renovations and upkeep.
All I can think of when I hear or see these people are the temple prostitutes described in the Bible. These folks are so lost. On a lighter yet blue note, please remember that uncle joe biden said that obama has a big stick. Maybe the allure of obama and his stick is what they need. Yup, the government stick will please you ladies but there will be another day when the government you so love and expect to love you will not be there. Ask the black families in the inner city that are broken because government is their daddy….Pay for your own moral failings and take your sour faces and your BS signs and find the nearest pier to walk off. These people are the problem not the solution.
First of all, I could pay for all the abortions these women would need with my weekly allowance, and have enough left over for a condom. Or two. And I only get about five bucks.
Secondly, it’s not about whether or not the government should pay for it. It’s about whether or not it’s MURDER. Which it is.
So you not only don’t have the right to your CONTRACEPTIVE (preventative measure, not abortion, which is after the fact) choice, you don’t have the right to PRIVACY with regards to your uterus, if you ask the Government to pay for it, and no, men haven’t had any privacy when it comes to the government for YEARS, welcome to our world.
This is really just another attempt by the Communists to take over this country. Screw you, commies.
Every time I see one of these reports, I keep mentally reciting “As ye sow, so shall ye reap.” Or in the words of Florence King, “As ye f—, madam, as ye f—.”
What a mess. They have sex, they should take responsibility for what sex was designed to do.
Pregnancy is the natural consequence of sex–so consequences equal punishment? I am angry at these stupid, stupid women who want their “freedom” to waste a human life because they don’t agree with the plain fact that when you’re a woman AND you want to have SEX it’s because you’re fertile and your body wants to make a new life. And what’s the matter with that? You know if you pay attention to your monthly cycles, you’ll know when you’re fertile and maybe if it’s not the right time to get pregnant, have your husband or boyfriend use a condom. It’s not hard to figure out.
I dont see how any of these women would ever need birth control or an abortion. And 1 looks like she has already had one sandwich too many.
They are just looking for a sugar daddy
So let me get this straight, all these women are out there with signs fighting a war that doesn’t exist? According to a report in the Daily Rash, actress Cybill Shepherd is prepared to take a bullet in her fight in the war against women. C’mon! http://www.thedailyrash.com/cybill-shepard-is-ready-to-die-fighting-against-the-war-on-women
Well, her career died a long time ago, so….
The “Keep Your Rosaries … Off My Ovaries” chick displays an appalling lack of understanding of basic biology. Fetuses gestate in the uterus, not the ovaries. I would note also that it is the radical Left, not the Catholic Church, that is obsessed with ovaries. I’ve never heard of the Church opposing ovulation, but these idiots seem obsessed with opposition to ovulation. They’re very anti-ovary. Or at least, they’re opposed to healthy, functioning ovaries.
“Pregnancy is not a punishment for having sex”. Well, that’s true; it’s a consequence of having sex. There’s a reason that sex was created for marriage and I wonder how many of these women that participated in this march are actually married women. I’m guessing that there are very few, if any. In that case, they should be saddled with the responsibility of raising these children that they end up pregnant with so that they learn that there are indeed consequences to their actions. Too bad if it crimps on social time or activities, as a wife and mother of two, I understand that there will be issues in social life. Welcome to the world of mommyhood, ladies… killing in the name of convenience doesn’t erase the fact that you had been pregnant and may get pregnant again because you can’t keep your legs crossed. The way I see it, there are two choices to this situation: you can not have sex and be 100% sure that you’re not going to get pregnant, or you can have sex, possibly get pregnant, and if you do get pregnant, be a big girl and take care of the responsibility of having a child. It’s that simple.
Looking at these pictures, I can’t shake the fact that these women are getting all riled up against a straw man. They are going to war against an enemy that doesn’t exist.
Exactly my thoughts!
Marxist bitches. Pay for your own Moloch worship service.
BTW, the war on women is being held every day in the Immah, not in America.
Nice buncha gals. Chahmed, I’m shooah. Why aren’t their any “rolleyes” emoticons around here? To the gal near the bottom of page 1: I’ll start respecting your vagina when you start respecting yourself.
I am writing to you as a lesbian trapped in a man’s body. You have let Obama create an issue where there is no issue. Yes, we have our “right to lifers”; however, most of us are aware of a stark reality. That reality is that it is much cheaper to pay for a woman’s abortion than have to pay 21 years of child support, pay for that child’s education, and pay for its medical needs. Economically abortion makes sense and I say this as a conservative. Take away this issue Obama has lost a big chunk of his appeal. Let him manipulate this issue as he is doing, and it will bite us in the a**. Personally I feel that Obama has chewed on our collective a**es long enough. Its time to have an anal abortion and get rid of him.
Carpet muncher!
Guilty as charged!
Well! Aren’t you two a couple of perverted Stanley Steemers.
Good one! I’m going to use that.
BTW, Mow box, and swollow hairs!
At least they can spell compared to the tea party signs! funny that only a handful of signs were shown. there were many other signs, equal pay for equal work, pass violence against women act, etc. i admit some of the signs could have been considered over the top and do not state the views of every person that marched on saturday. The same as the pro-life, tea party, GOP protesters have said in the past about certain signs/protesters at their events. The basic premise to the “War on Women” is, equal pay for equal work, women makes 77cents to the dollar a man makes for the same job. pass VAWA, violence against women act (this is the first time since 1994 that it has not been signed by EVERY legislature, why is that?)topeka kansas passed a law stating domestic violence is no longer a crime!! does anyone here think this is right?, pass the ERA, (what is wrong with women being guaranteed the same equal rights as a man?). There are legislatures all over the country passing nothing but laws that limit the rights of women. Why arent they even writing bills that have to do with oh I dont know, JOB CREATION!!! My uterus and the uterus of every other women is not anyone else’s business, if i am doing the same job as a man, i should be paid the same, it my husband/partner beats me up, i should be able to have him arrested. There is a bigger picture then the few signs this website as chosen to show.
As someone who has been to literally hundreds of rallies on all sides of the political spectrum, I can assure you that spelling at Tea Party rallies is infinitely better than spelling at left-leaning rallies. Just today, in fact, I saw more misspelled signs at the May Day Occupy rallies than I have seen at all Tea Party rallies combined. Misspellings at left-wing rallies are the norm, not the exception.
Oh, Stephanie. You are exactly the kind of feminist I love to ignore: preachy, shrieky, and completely divorced from reality. Have fun in fairy land!
And you’ve clearly never been to a Tea Party rally if you think Tea Partiers can’t spell but your little hive of buzzing drones can.
Stephanie,
Considering that your comment is riddled with punctuation and capitalization errors, I’m thinking that perhaps the Tea Party signs were correct and you aren’t able to recognize proper English.
Spellcheck. It’s not an app to see if your Wicca ritual is correct, m’kay? Give it a spin. Then…try grammarcheck, too.
Do you notice that the ones who “scream” the loudest about birth control, abortion etc are the very ones you would think would need it the least….
Is a feminist the same thing as a uterist?
First of all: the “women” (?) pictured in these photos don’t need contraception. They ARE a contraception…
OK, now let’s be serious.
Sex and whatever is associated with sex (contraception, condoms, viagra, etc.) is personal pleasure (ok, sometimes it’s hard to imagine that it is a pleasure – see my first sentence or think about H.R.Clinton or Marie Antoinette Obama) and therefore everything associated with sex (and this applies also to an abortion) has to be paid out of the personal wallet! Period. It’s that simple!
I remember when I was still young enough to know everything…
Actually “War on Women” is being waged by progressives and liberals. For example. Obama’s progressive policies have left more and more women unemployed, and attempts to unionize childcare will make finances much harder on women who need to work.
Women do have the right to an abortion. Abortion isn’t murder for the fact the fetus does not have rights.
I have to say that reading the posts on this page show exactly the reason why there are so many women and men in this country fed up with this kind of crap. I am a Republican and if you think this is all about free access to birth control you are sadly mistaken. This is also not about government paying for anything this is about Republicans and some Democrats who are creating pieces of legislation that are absolutely absurd – for example legislation that would give a private employer, not a religious employer, but a private employer the right to as a woman if she is on birth control and if that said employer had a moral or religious objection to birth control they could refuse to hire her. This is about legislation that would allow women who PAY their own insurance premiums be denied coverage of birth control under their insurance plan, or even a co-pay, but allowing coverage of Viagra and penile implants. Over 1100 pieces of legislation last year and over 600 so far this year. There is a war on women in this country – and it isn’t just about abortion. It is about equal pay acts being repealed, it is about a woman having to carry a dead fetus inside of her is it dies past a certain point of gestation, it is about saying domestic abuse only happens to heterosexual couples, it is about saying rape can only happen to a heterosexual woman, it is about charging a physician and a patient with a crime if they make a decision together about a LEGAL medical procedure, it is about an infertile couple being charged with a crime if the eggs are destroyed in a lab once they have already had a successful IVF procedure, it is about the state publishing a woman’s private health record online, it is about a state forcing a non-essential medical procedure such as a transvaginal ultrasound, which is basically state sanctioned rape according to the legal definition of rape in most states, and telling her to close her eyes and take it. I doubt very seriously you will post this comment because you have not posted any other comments that differ from your own but at least perhaps you can see that this not just about free access this is much much more. As a Republican woman I am disgusted that the majority of these proposed legislative bills have been brought by my own party, and equally as disgusted when it is Democrat or Independent or any other politician bringing these bills up. It is wrong – plain and simple. Regardless of your personal religious beliefs NO ONE has the right to impose their religious beliefs on anyone else – period. These same people who are attacking women, and yes they are attacking women with legislation, are the same ones who scream from the rooftops that the government needs to stay out of their private lives especially when it pertains to their religious beliefs BUT yet they have no qualms at all in trying to get the government to do the same thing to women. Absurdity is what it is. There is something happening in this country and it is not Republican or Democrat it is about the people, everyday regular people being marginalized by elected officials, religious groups, and other organizations and entities. This battle is going to continue on the state level and it will be defeated but a sleeping giant has been awakened and the ramifications from these attacks are going to drastically change the make-up of state legislatures and the federal level of government as well. We will fight back against the state laws but we are also going to once and for all get the Equal Amendment Act passed in this country and women will no longer be able to not have legal recourse and will finally be able to have equal rights once and for all.
Hey look, Cynical Wonder showed up again!
i cannot believe the ignorance on this thread. yall have no idea what you are talking about. there have been 140 laws passed this year having to do with women’s reproductive rights. and really nice on cherry picking the pics. i saw the all. from all the states that participated. for you women, i’m ashamed. when we ask for birth control to be covered by insurance it’s not wrong. most b.c is used for other than birth control. for medical issues, thereby medically necessary. as far as abortion, no federal funding goes to abortions. get your facts straight or you will continue to spread your ingnorant non facts. why is viagra covered by insurance? from the exhusband who worked for the pharma,’becuase viagra is necessary and b.c. is a choice” really, a hard on is necessary??? fine. before you get your viagra, i think we need to check your prostrate, sugar levels, do a stress test and a few other tests to make sure you are healthy enough to sustain a 4 hour hard on. this goes so far beyond abortion. this goes to equality. why are 50+ year old men deciding what is right for women? answer me that batman.
Trisha? Honey? Take a breath. You’ll get the vapors.
Viagra has medical uses beyond erectile dysfunction. And birth control IS covered by many insurance plans. And you know what? If it’s not, it ain’t that expensive. The most expensive I’ve found is $30/month, and that’s an outlier. Buy it yourself.
As for most birth control being used for other than birth control — give me a break. It’s called “birth control” for a reason. Yes, I realize it also has medical uses; I use it for medical reasons beyond contraception. But to say that something that is CALLED “birth control” is used primarily for something OTHER than “birth control” is… well… to call it foolish isn’t really strong enough, but it’ll have to do.
You want to get an abortion? Fine. I disagree with your moral stance, but fine. Pay for it yourself. I’m not paying for it for you. Buy your own insurance, or pay your own blood bill.
If you worked for a Catholic organization, I would expect you to feel great shame if you demanded they pay for your abortion, your birth control, or any other aspect of your sinful lifestyle. Trampling over a religion’s core beliefs isn’t something to be sniffed at.
As for cherry-picking the signs: so? They’re particularly asinine signs held by particularly asinine women in pursuit of a particularly asinine “cause”: the so-called “War on Women.” They’re in public; why can’t we point and laugh? Why should I take you or them seriously? Breathless protestations and vulgar silliness are pathetic excuses for reasoned argument, so I feel justified in dismissing you and them. It’s really a pretty simple case of cause and effect. I expect you feel the same, which is why you’ll dismiss this response to your comment.
And we’re back where we started.
Sincerely,
MWR, a 32 year old woman who’s not a brainwashed feminist
There is a clear path for the resolution of these social controversies. As American society becomes less Christian and more Islamic, Shari’a will provide a better way for women to achieve their social and spiritual aspirations. Male/female conflicts such as these will be resolved. Men and women will be happier when they are on the right path.
Yes, Effendi, they surely will, “For as Mohammad Himself (Peace be upon Him) said: ‘ … ‘ “. [Note: Sarcasm, like humor, is wasted on those too dense to appreciate it. They prove it every day.]
If you want freedom of reproductive rights, pay for them yourself. If you want me to pay for them, then I have say in them.
On the subject of anal abortions. I remember my little daughter asking me, “Can you get pregnant from anal sex?” I was afraid to answer her because sex seemed a taboo subject for a father and daughter. I simply avoided the subject by saying, “Go ask your mother.” Right in front of me she popped the question to her ma, “Mom can you get pregnant from anal sex?” My wife had a horrified look on her face, then finally answer, “Yes you can dear. Where do you think politicians like Obama come from?”
LOL! Okay, that is priceless. Nice comeback by your wife!
I’d say for that bunch, abortions should be mandatory.
You can always tell which way an author leans by which pictures he decides to share. Looks like unbiased journalism really is gone.
Then you have the comments that bash the individuals because their only argument against the message is an opinion. This reflection of pro-life just pushes people closer to pro-choice. Comments like I see here made me turn pro-choice.
Thank you for making your message clear so I could decide.
I agree. There is no reason the government or insurances should pay for Viagra, Cialis and all the other male “enhancements” that are readily available for free.
If a prescription is wrote, the medication should be covered as any other medicine with all co-pays applicable.
Abortions should be paid equally between the man and woman. If the man wants to raise the child, he can pay the woman an amount equal to 9 months work. If you want to force the woman to have the child, YOU pay her the wages AND adopt EVERY child.
Abortions will always happen. Whether you like it or not it will always be an opinion. Backroom abortions here we come AGAIN.
No one can force you to HAVE an abortion, why should you be allowed to force a woman NOT to have one? Just so you can assert YOUR opinion and morals?
Believe it or not, the world is not only catholics, and I refuse to allow your paganism to dictate my life.
Last time I checked, Roe v Wade is still the law of the land. There are no pending cases to overturn it, and no indication that the court is going to change its mind on that ruling, now or in the foreseeable future.
I myself am pro-CHOICE. See that last word? Choice. Like, as in, you can choose to have an abortion if you want to. And Catholics can choose to not pay for your abortion, if they don’t want to.
But intentionally jumbling up the universal legality of abortion with your entitlement mentality of making everyone pay for your choices, you lose the argument.
This is the EXACT reason why Americans reject Obamacare — because they don’t want to fund the expenses of other people’s health and lifestyle choices.
Laissez-faire ends at my wallet.
*wiping eyes from tears of laughter* Sorry, read your username and had to laugh. Whew, good one!
Anyway, have you actually, you know, looked at the website you’re on? Paid attention to the content? Noted the blog posts of Zombie and other posters? What on earth makes you think this is a purportedly “objective” news source? Am I supposed to visit the Democratic Underground, Daily Kos, or Media Matters to get my objective, unbiased commentary? “Can you understand the words that are comin’ out of my mouth?”
Thank God for places like PJM and bloggers like Zombie. Without them, idiots like you would have driven me ’round the bend long, long ago.
Zombie! Why did you post this in the morning? I poured myself a cup of coffee, open up PJ Media, click on the post, and OH MY GAWD! Put me off my feed for the whole day!
Next time, give a fellow a bit of warning, OK? Thanks.
Hey Zombie, why don’t you publish under your real name? Could it be that you’re actually a shameful propagandist, rather than an ethical journalist? This piece and all of its proponents are frauds.
I don’t publish under my real name because I get death threats on a daily basis.
I didn’t take these photos — I just reposted them.
You have the Constitutional right to protest publicly. You DON’T have the Constitutional right to control how people perceive or interpret your protest.
Don’t like how people laugh at your narrative? Then craft a better narrative.
Hey, Maria! Why are you a whining harpy troll?
Oinkers, all.
I agree with what someone said earlier: Abortions should’ve been mandatory for these “women”‘s mothers!
As for all of you who “don’t care” about what choices these “women” make, remember that there are innocent unborn Human lives at stake here. They’re trying to turn it into an issue of choice vs control when really the issue is life vs murder. Of course maybe Humanity would be better off without their offspring.
And to the person who mentioned “Drivethru abortions”, I couldn’t contain myself for about two minutes I was laughing so hard. The sad truth is, it’s probably already on their future agenda.
AND, after they get all the free vagina attention, they’ll demand free tattoos, body piercing, and hallucinogenics.
I am woman, hear me whine.
Don’t be distracted by the Democrats campaign strategy. Keep focusing on big things, like repealing Obamacare, reforming Entitlements, stop the shrinking military budgets, and turning America into some imagined socialist uptopia (of which these honey’s are the poster children)
They need a damn good shagging, that’ll sort them out. Then they can put my supper on.
The hefty gal in the first picture, I don’t really think that’s a protest sign. She literally, just wants someone to make her a sandwich.
LMAO!
I agree. She looks hongray! Watch the hand!
Given how inexpensive birth control is, why is this an issue?
I like fishing. I pay for my gear, my bait, my licenses, and my boat. Not only doesn’t anyone subsidize me, I pay taxes for the privilege of putting a hook in the water.
I like to get drunk. I pay for my own booze. I pay for my own hangover remedies. I actually pay extra tax for the privilege.
I like sex. I pay for my own condoms and medical care. I pay sales tax for the medicine.
These nearly female humans are missing an important point: Abortion is legal. Morning-After pills are legal. However, many do not want to use tax money to pay for it. So shut up and pay for your own medical care– Oh, wait…
It’s not really an issue, it’s an excuse for these women with minds like ingrown toenails to get outdoors and stick it in front of you.
Liberals are flagrantly messed up, why does anyone even bother listening to them anymore?
My wallet, my choice.
Do you want these women raising kids?
Allow them to have abortions.
WE need to pay for each of them.
Make you a sandwich??? Okay, whole wheat bread, no-fat mayo, lettuce and, and, and, well that just about does it for you.
Shari’a will solve this problem and a lot of other ones as well.
Not really. Boy lovin’ can’t be cured.
We don’t Islam AND feminists! Hey Joe! On a different subject-are you related to..?
yes, I DID mean it the other way around- I didn’t have my morning coffee.
Still wondering though Joe-I mean, that name IS a little unusual..
A shame there’s not a, ‘Wonderlic-like’ system in place whereas it’s a standard, prerequisite-like system for a go or no-go tubal ligation.
Dollars to donuts these women and few men in attendance via Zombie’s pics would fall into the former camp.
Then again, the Wonderlic system in of itself is not perfect.
Vince Young, Bo Smith, Turk McBride, Julius Wilson, Brandon MeBane, Matt Trannon etc., have all had or continue to have, albeit lackluster NFL career. Weird, huh?
I would say to these women, “I like to hunt, my taxes can pay for your contraceptives when your taxes start paying for my bullets.” I’d even go farther and say, “my taxes can even pay for your abortions when your taxes start paying for my licenses and tags.” Otherwise pay for your own recreational needs. If you ain’t having sex to reproduce, it’s recreational! Oh yeah, also, if I ever accidently shoot someone (God forbid) I don’t want to be held responsible, your taxes should pay for that too. Doesn’t that sound fair?
Crickets yet on this thread?
Hey, Zombie. I haven’t been all that active on PJM lately but I just wanted to send you some:

I hope all is well in your life. You are a brave soul to tackle the issues you tackle knowing that you will end up with a fatwa or toilet paper on your sweet head.
I envy your undead gonads/ovaries.
No. I don’t. I am a huge chicken turd! I hate confrontation! I love that you face it full on though…even as a zombie-tron.
“My Uterus is Private Property.” Then why does it need a public subsidy?
Okay, here’s a free “No Trespassing” sign you can nail up. That should be all the birth control you need.
Precisely. Keep your legs closed, exercise self-discipline. Hey! I have a novel idea-get married to someone you love, keep your body wholly for him and give him babies!
I’m happy for them but I don’t want to pay for it. I wonder how they could be so vulgar and not know they are repulsively lacking in self-respect? I just wonder.
These hysterics don’t seem to grasp they’re confirming every women-debasing stereotype that’s out there: a bunch of hyperventilating no-nothings driven by emotion over reason. The bottom-line argument challenging their crusade is not even anti-abortion, but fiscal: why should the gov’t (ie, the taxpayers) pay for someone else’s contraception or abortion? Even if abortion is just dandy, a heroic act to be lauded by all decent people, that is no argument for requiring a third party to foot the bill for it. Lots and lots and lots of commendable stuff happens everyday without the local, state or federal government’s underwriting of it. (Although, admittedly, in our Washington-centric age that list is shrinking.) Don’t get me wrong – abortion, indeed, is the moral outrage of our generation; and some forms of contraception amount to pregnancy-ending (ie, abortofacient), versus pregnancy-preventing, measures. But one can disagree with me on that conclusion and still bristle at being forced to pay for another person’s baby-killing choice. The man-hating, child-loathing Left, however, is counting on its shrill rhetoric to steamroll the rationale facilities of the XX set. And, from the evidence of the photos above, they’re achieving some success in that expectation.
Every single (and they no doubt **are** single) woman featured in the photos in this story is empirical proof of what I’ve always believed & seen first-hand: Namely, that (a) Conservative women are more attractive than Liberal/Feminist women; (b) the women who are so obsessed with “reproductive rights” are women you’d never want to **** in the first place and (c) as Rush says, the purpose of feminism is give ugly women equal access to the marketplace.
Ugh. Like a freakshow but with makeup.
I don’t want to pay for their birth control OR their abortions, but I am willing to pay for their tubal ligations and/or hysterectomies (especially for that nasty chick threatening to bleed all over everyone else’s stuff instead of using sanitary supplies. Gross!)
After all, it’s much more eco-friendly than all those stupid little plastic pill packs….and those rosaries won’t be able to threaten your ovaries if they’re gone, right?
Whaddaya say, Sammich Girl?
“What kind of sandwich would you like to be?”
Perhaps these women should be aware that even some of us who lean pro life are beginning to think that voluntary eugenics is a good idea. First, because there is nothing I can do to stop them from killing their child. Secondly, if a women is so selfish, vile, and disgusting to kill her child then perhaps it is best that she does not reproduce. Just keep your filthy tyrant Scientism czar, John Holdren, away from my womb.
Zombie, you wrote: “This short video of a speaker at the rally is a good illustration of exactly the worst argument you can make at a pro-abortion rally.” And then you gave a good, and funny, reason why. Well, I caught something else she said in her speech that was just as funny: “my mother… became another single mom to two kids, unfortunately”.
Unfortunately! But she just finished glorifying single mothers! Unless she was referring to the unfortunate fact that she had a brother.
