Buyout talk buoyed Dell shares today:
Dell shares are soaring Monday on a report that the PC maker is in buyout talks with at least two private-equity firms.
Shares recently rose 17% to $12.70.
Bloomberg reports the company is in talks to go private. The discussions are preliminary and could fall apart, Bloomberg says.
Huh. They’re not shutting it down, but they might be giving the money back to the shareholders.
Dell got a real nice monitor coming, the U3013. Those extra 160 rows of pixels can show *crucial* visual data over a 27″.
And their old spokesman ended up working at the Mustang Ranch, where he would tell customers, “Dude! You’re getting Adelle!”
