Advantage… Me!

Time Magazine, Virginia Postrel, and the Blogfaddah have all finally discovered BSG.
Of course, those of us who’ve been plugging the show since, er, before it actually aired in America, can only say, “Hey, about frackin’ time!”

Right on Will. It’s a damn good show with powerful and flawed characters, queasy decisionmakers aware of the messiness of their situation and moral ambiguities of action, a central narrative asking what makes one human and coming back with several disparate answers, villains that are actually sort of lovable. And Olmos completely rocks. It’s classic Sci-Fi in the Asimov/Heinlein mold, but with a bit of a Pournelle/Niven vibe to it. Great stuff.
So say we all!
So say we all!
So say we all.
By your command.
Stop looking at me like that.
Oh, frack.
so say we all.
and it starts back up in a couple weeks! frack yeah!
I don’t care what anyone says…Cylon women are HOT. Colonioal chicks…not even in the same league.
I’d sell out 13 or 14 colonies for some Six time.
Aye, so say we all.
A question though. I don’t remember TV seasons being split or having large gaps in them when I was a kid (a la BSG and Lost). Is this a fairly recent developement or am I just addled?
The split season is the way SciFi channel does all their original shows.
I suppose I’m one of the rare one’s who doesn’t care for BSG. Ah well.
Without a doubt, it is wonderful, clever and thoughtful TV. I have ordered the DVD.
frack me, it’s about time.
Great show, probably second only to Babylon 5.
Sorry, rbj, it’s much better than B5.
Split the difference. B5G.
but why did they call it Battlestar Galactica ?
