“Dean Wormer would be proud.”

New-to-me blogger Colin Samuels takes on Paul Krugman, stupid cops, and… well, just read it.
But here’s a small hint: Somebody needs to put Krugman on double secret probation.

Dean Vernon Wormer: Put Neidermeyer on it. He’s a sneaky little shit just like you.
Krugman has been hammered so many times the last few years for quoting people on things that they did no say; but that he made up to advance his specious argument, that he seems to be getting sensative. He introduces this specious argument with, “And the authors suggest, without quite asserting it”. They did not say it he wants us to believe they said it to further his — argument.
Like most progressives he tries not to let facts get in the way of his feelings. He, like our friend Nancy, emotes rather than think. He uses bogus, made up facts to set up his argument. A little like another famous progressive argument – Rathergate.
Paul is an America hating twit. Who cares?
I’m still trying to figure out how Krugman, Dowd, et. al, have made it this far making stuff up as they go, making buku bucks and I still have to work for a living.
