   Dave: That is Lileks’s “404–file not found” page. It’s a reference to an episode of the original Star Trek series; to make a long story short, the guy in the picture is a star ship captain having a nervous breakdown over the death of his crew.

   He’s fine. I swapped emails with him Friday afternoon.

   The guy’s entitled to a day off once in awhile, ain’t he? Plus he’s got a wife at home 24×7 now. That has to be interrupting his schedule quite a bit.
