Business Insider has some photos of the police presence in Ferguson, MO. Here’s one of them.

Is this who we are now?

Ferguson is already in the throes of riots, maybe because of police brutality after the police killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown. Frankly, I haven’t seen enough to form an opinion one way or another.

You can’t trust the media to report accurately, not after so many fails including the Martin-Zimmerman case. They go out of their way to distort.

You can’t trust the race hustlers, who use every controversy to make a buck.

The Justice Department is involved. You can’t trust them to be fair. Eric Holder has politicized the whole department.

And look at the local police. Is that the posture of a force that seeks to inspire trust, or fear?

They have short-barreled 5.56-mm rifles based on the military M4 carbine, with scopes that can accurately hit a target out to 500 meters. On their side they carry pistols. On their front, over their body armour, they carry at least four to six extra magazines, loaded with 30 rounds each.
