Democrats spent much of today’s IRS scandal hearing not asking where the “lost” emails went or how the agency intends to clean up its act. Democrats spent the hearing praising the IRS and suggesting that the “lost” emails really aren’t a problem.

Democrat after Democrat praises the IRS and its commissioner, suggesting that the agency that spends $11 billion annually needs even more money. Several say that the investigation into the targeting of conservative groups, and the “lost” emails, isn’t even a serious investigation. The majority of the American people disagree.

Democrats should run with that in the mid-terms. It’s a sure winner with the voters…right?

Now if the Democrats could just hold up Obama's sagging approval ratings like they have shouldered the burden of explaining away all the scandals as "nothing to see...just move along"...a strategy they perfected under Clinton.

It's truly sickening to see the party corrupt themselves like their higher ups.

I wonder how they would feel if a republican administration had weaponized the IRS and used it against liberals and their supporters. Just sayin... Hard to say it's a problem when it's targeting your enemies and helping you win elections.
