Apparently the president’s signature program hasn’t turned the corner quite yet. News broke today that the Spanish version of isn’t actually written in Spanish.

The Associated Press reports ”the translations were so clunky and full of grammatical mistakes that critics say they must have been computer-generated.” The situation is even worse when applicants begin digging into then nitty-gritty of the plans. ”When you get into the details of the plans, it’s not all written in Spanish. It’s written in Spanglish, so we end up having to translate it for them,” Adrian Madriz, a health care navigator in Miami, told the AP.

The Web site, for instance, translates the word ”premium” into “prima” — a word more typically used in Spanish to denote a female cousin. Veronica Plaza, a professor who teaches medical Spanish at the University of New Mexico, told the AP that the site should’ve used ”cuotas,” ”couta mensual” or “costo annual.” (Update: The Obama administration disputes that “prima” is the wrong word here. They note that Univision, for instance, uses “prima” in their documents.) 

Then, of course, there are the bugs: Some links on the site simply take people back to the English-language Sometimes the site simply doesn’t work at all. And the Obama administration has a lot less capacity in its Spanish-language call centers than in its English-language ones, so some Spanish speakers confused by the Web site are having trouble getting help on the phone, too.

If you taste tears in that, it’s because Obama fanboy and cheerleader Ezra Klein wrote it.

Obama’s administration will escape any charges of being “out of touch with Hispanics” or racist because, well, they’re Democrats. Simple as that. If they weren’t, this Spanglish site would be an endless source of ridicule.

But that’s just the disastrous websites, which we’ve known are disastrous for months. How about enrollment?

Eh, pretty sucky.

The new private health plans available under Obamacare drew in fewer young and healthy Americans than needed for the administration to make healthcare reform a market success in the first wave of enrollment, an official report showed on Monday.

Twenty-four percent of the 2.2 million people who signed up for private coverage between October 1 and December 28 belonged to a target audience of 18- to 34-year-olds, according to the first administration report to provide a demographic breakdown on enrollment in the new plans offered under President Barack Obama’s healthcare law.

That compares with a target of closer to 38 percent set before the program’s botched October 1 rollout, when administration officials believed that about 2.7 million of a forecast 7 million enrollees for 2014 would be between 18 and 35.

So, death spiral here we come…

But the Obamabots have a plan for that. One that involves you paying a lot for their policy, which you never wanted in the first place.
