The leader of Nigerian terrorist group and al-Qaeda affiliate Boko Haram scoffed at the bounty put on his head by the Obama administration, vowing to “decapitate and mutilate” more people in his jihad.

“You can’t in any way harm me,” Abubakar Shekau said in a new video, adding, “What is 50 million naira? We do not worship money. As for those who are in our midst, Allah has taken care of them.”

The U.S. designated Shekau a terrorist in June 2012 and this past summer offered up to $7 million “for information leading to the location” of Shekau. The 50 million naira reward, about $300,000, is offered by Nigeria.

Shekau took credit for a Dec. 20 attack on a military compound in Bama in which gunmen not only opened fire on soldiers but reportedly kidnapped women and children.

Nigeria has not released a death toll from the attack but said it killed some 50 terrorists when fighter jets swooped in on the fleeing gunmen. Shekau says Boko Haram “blew out the brains” of soldiers who tried to hide from the assault.

“Brothers pulverized 21 armored tanks. People were killed in their multitudes, bodies scattered all over,” he said.

“Had Allah allowed us to eat them we would have eaten them but we are not cannibals,” he added in the video sent to Agence France-Presse. “This is a victory from Allah.”

“…We will kill because Allah says we should decapitate, we should amputate limbs, we should mutilate.”

Shekau said in a recent video that his group is ready to “comfortably confront the United States of America.”

$7 million for information? Try offering that for his head and right hand on a platter. That would make those people really nervous, particularly about any of their own who might want a promotion.
