The AP reported on July 23 that President Obama’s nominee for the #2 slot at the Department of Homeland Security is the target of an ongoing investigation.

President Barack Obama’s choice to be the No. 2 official at the Homeland Security Department is under investigation for his role in helping a company secure an international investor visa for a Chinese executive, The Associated Press has learned.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Alejandro Mayorkas, who has been nominated to be the department’s No. 2 leader, was named by the DHS Inspector General’s Office as a target in an ongoing investigation about the foreign investor program run by USCIS.

According to an email sent to lawmakers Monday evening, the IG’s office said that it initially started investigating the EB-5 visa program last year based on a referral from an FBI analyst in the counter intelligence unit in Washington.

The email said the primary complaint against Mayorkas was that he helped a financing company run by Anthony Rodham, the brother of former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, to win approval for an investor visa, even after the application was denied and an appeal was rejected.

Mayorkas, a former U.S. attorney in California, previously came under fire for his involvement in the commutation by President Bill Clinton of the prison sentence of the son of a Democratic Party donor. Another of Hillary Clinton’s brothers, Hugh Rodham, had been hired by the donor to lobby for the commutation.

Hugh Rodham turns up in Mayorkas’ current scandal too. The link is through Anthony Rodham’s Gulf Coast Funds, based in McLean, VA. According to its web site, Gulf Coast Funds has one project at the moment — a certain company called GreenTech Automotive.

GreenTech is the alleged car company that was headed by VA Democrat gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe. GreenTech is an odd car company, in that it doesn’t actually produce any cars according to an investigation conducted by WMV-TV in Memphis, TN. An employee told reporters that he and other workers build cars, then tear them down and rebuild them to make it look like they’re working.

Among GreenTech’s employees, though, is one Hugh Rodham, according to Mark Liebovich’s This Town. He’s Hillary Clinton’s older brother, who helped get a presidential pardon for a convicted drug dealer as President Clinton left office in 2001.

Thanks for that info on GreenTech and the assembling/disassembling gambit I just forwarded it to the Cuccinelli campaign in case it hadn't hit their radar yet.

Everybody knows the Clintons (both of them) are two of the biggest crooks and scam artists in history....but when will they (the people) care? Bubba is considered a "good" president by dems because he was/is a "good" liar, which is a clear indictment of our cultural integrity. We will continue to languish in depravity until we actually condemn these miscreants for the vile, repugnant figures they truly are. We need to have an American "cultural cleansing."
