Larry King's Russia Today Promo is So Awful that It's Awesome

Have you heard the news? Larry King, the former CNN host who turns 578 years old this November, has returned from the netherworld and will host a new show on Russia Today. That’s basically the Kremlin Channel.

RT’s promo for King’s new show is…amazing. It takes a man who was there when Moses parted the Red Sea and dressed him up with a Batman soundtrack to make out like he’s a superhero. This is man who did 43 hour-long interviews with Tammy Faye Bakker. Then it flies a whole bunch of words across the screen, only one of which applies to King (“SUSPENDERS”). Then Larry talks, followed by enough dramatic endings to give you the hiccups.

It’s a work of art, is what I’m saying.
