It’s not just the press who is attention starved.
President Barack Obama will need Republican senators to pass his ambitious agenda — and the White House has even identified the top prospects.
But after months of buildup and a week since his State of the Union address, key aides on the Hill and at the White House acknowledge that even GOP senators who fit Obama’s vision of bipartisanship — Sens. Mark Kirk of Illinois, Rob Portman of Ohio, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma — are all waiting to hear anything from the president.
He needs Republican senators now? Haven’t we just been through weeks of MSM reporting that there’s a “mandate” and he can achieve whatever he wants through Executive overreach?
These guys might want to start reading their own stuff.

He needs some RINOs so when his plans fail he can first say it was a bipartisan plan then his media lapdogs can say it was the Republican’s fault it all failed and pin the blame all on them. You can bet the real architects of disaster, the Democrats and Obama and his shadow tsars, will be portrayed as the victims of Republican obstructionism and sabotage.
