No big deal. We’re just quickly becoming a Third World country that can’t even handle elections.
LAUDERHILL, Fla. (WSVN) — Nearly a thousand ballots that were not included in Florida’s final count have been found in a warehouse in Broward County.
Tuesday morning and into the night, there was a buzz of activity at the Voting Equipment Center in Lauderhill, a week after the general election. There was a recount going on for two commission seats that were too close to call, one in Hallandale Beach and another in Dania Beach. Workers had to count those votes manually.
Also keeping elections officials busy is the fact that 963 filled ballots were found in a warehouse. The supervisor of elections, Dr. Brenda Snipes, said this happens all the time, especially when dealing with paper ballots. Her department is not the only one to have seen more ballots added to the final number after the election, and they have until Nov. 18 to certify all the votes.

Let’s just do away with elections. This way, we won’t have to worry that any nasty Republicans get into office.

and it’s a pity, in this climate, with boneheads everywhere, a funny crack has to have a footnote.
We’re just quickly becoming a Third World country that can’t even handle elections.
I’m sorry, but fraudulent elections are neither a recent development nor an isolated, occasional problem.
I believe Liar Gore’s clumsy, thwarted scheme to steal the 2000 presidential election in Florida so infuriated high powers in the Democratic [sic] party, they resolved to turn election theft into a science. They succeeded in stealing a Washington state gubernatorial election, then a Minnesota senatorial election, and most recently, the 2012 presidential election. Stranger still, very few people seem to be able to come up with enough nerve to speak the obvious: the Democratic [sic] party is engaged in massive, systematic election fraud.
We expect the worst of that bunch, and aren’t often disappointed. The great harm has less to do with criminals’ predations, monstrous though they have become, than the assumption there’s nothing either government or we normal, law-abiding people can do about them.
Yeah, the fraud trend heading into the re-elevation of the empty chair was so obvious that I’m surprised we’re talking about a paper trail of real ballots. A 2016 electronic stage show won’t leave as many tracks. The voting result in the U.S. is going to be less secure and less reliable than an MSNBC internet poll.
Keep finding ballots until your guy is ahead. That’s the new Dem program.
Florida elections are in the hands of the GOP. Guess they were too busy trying to suppress the vote to count them all.
Do you realize that even if Florida went for Romney, it doesn’t impact the election result?
But, shouldn’t we root out election fraud wherever we find it? Isn’t electoral integrity important?
That’s why *all* the swing states were miracle-flipped together as insurance. Allegedly. 2008 was probably the last legitimate election any way you count it. This one was so odd that the results were quickly blamed on a hurricane wiping out our memory of the last four years.
Absolute fraud rules – absolutely – that would be a more common sense explanation.
2008 was probably the last legitimate election any way you count it.
That’s an important point. I don’t think any Republican partisan claims that 2008 was stolen. Obama won that one by a wide margin, boosted by his starry-eyed acolytes of Hope and Change.
Wouldn’t matter if it was a million. The vote fairies would find a million and ten.

Yeah, they were only all Republican votes… just fraud, no big.
Voter fraud and vote buying are an old art in this country. I agree that all appearances of voter fraud must be investigated and prosecuted but it won’t stop because the financial rewards of attaining office are just too great. In fact I am surprised that the graveyards didn’t open up in Florida and that all the resurrected were Democrats.
The more interesting question is why did about 3 million fewer Republicans show up to vote in 2012 than in 2008? O’s national margin was about that many.
We have lost control of the electoral process and the more the act of voting has become easier, the easier it has been for the left to “process” the votes. And when you take note of who controls the academies and culture it is a wonder that we have any control whatsoever in Washington, but we do — and couple our control of the House with our increasing governing control throughout the country on the state level and we should be encouraged.
let’s just have the congress pass an enabling act, get it over with so we can go back watching survivor, real housewives and the nfl
