Nationally syndicated talk show host and former Saturday Night Live comedian Dennis Miller has endorsed Herman Cain for the Republican nomination for president.
Miller, who mentioned his support for the Cain campaign on his national radio show, will headline a fundraiser for Cain in Los Angeles and has donated to the campaign, a Cain spokeswoman confirmed.
“I’d like to thank [Miller] for his support,” Cain said in a statement on his campaign Twitter feed. “I look forward to working with him as we continue our journey to the White House!”
Miller has been supportive of Cain for months–his website directed readers to the Georgia businessman’s campaign site in July–but had not formally endorsed him until today.
Miller has come up with the slogan of the campaign for the Georgia businessman if he were to run against Obama: “Cain Versus Not Able.”

Yes, we Cain! We are the ones we’ve been waiting for… to get rid of Obama.
Miller rocks! I’d take Cain over Romney and Perry any day. But the most effective candidate would be Daniels, or Christie, or Ryan. Gotta get them to commit, put their country first.
Daniels is done. He retreated from the campaign because his wife wouldn’t let him play with the big kids… that’s DOOM in any campaign. Let the milquetoast stay home; he can be part of the Republican government after the Herman-Cain takes the country by storm!
Thank you, Dennis Miller! Cain 2012!
Cain is gaining momentum…love the slogan Dennis came up with, when do the t-shirts go on sale?
Let’s go wild and raise Cain, everybody!
it’s too easy….The Cain Mutiny
At first I didnt consider Cain a serious candidate. I am taking a much harder look at him now. It is true that all the other republicans are ‘more of the same’, and Cain is not. I will support anyone who opposes Obama, but I would prefer a sterling candidate. If Cain proves to be what he appears to be now, I can enthusiastically support this guy.
The more face time Cain gets with the public, the greater his stature on the stage will grow. He doesn’t come across as “smooth” . . . he comes across as someone who speaks with passion from the heart. He has the intellect, and far more importantly, the toughness from growing up in a time which didn’t favor minorities, and found success through hard work and self-reliance. Read his account of his parents attitudes as he grew up, and you’ll get a grasp on the man they raised. He’d crush Obama in a debate through substance, or what someone once referred to as “content of character”, not through vague, slick focus-group vetted slogans.
I suppose the thing that amuses me the most about this whole Herman Cain debate is the rank hypocrisy it shows among the Tea Party racists and the conservative punditry. Yesterday, Cain used a barnyard epithet to describe Obama’s economic policies. All the Tea Party blogs were AWASH in comments congratulating Cain for using straight talk to describe his comment. Rewind to June 2010 when Obama was talking about “knowing whose ass to kick” in the BP Oil Spill debacle. The Tea Party bloggers and the conservative punditry collectively clutched their pearls and tried to direct themselves to the nearest fainting couch with a serious case of “the vapors” over the fact that this crude “street thug gangster” would USE language like that. It’s like the Tea Party racists and the conservative punditry FORGOT we have this thing we call “the Internet” and we can SEARCH and LOOK UP the things they said before and COMPARE them to the things they say now!

(And hey, does this sudden Tea Party and conservative punditry embrace of a black candidate remind anyone ELSE of the old racist denial tactic of saying, “I can’t POSSIBLY be racist. I know this guy at work. A black guy? NICEST guy you’d ever want to meet!”)
Ok, let me make sure I got this straight. Your argument is that the Tea Party shows its racism by supporting a black guy talking tough. Are you really sure you want to try that one?

“We” expect better vocabulary from the “smartest man” to ever occupy the White House!
Support for a conservative comes first, and last, and everywhere inbetween, unlike another group we know. Mr Cain’s color is totally irrelevant by the way. Sorry you are exposing your own prejustices.
Sorry hit the wrong key!

Mike,
Ignore the troll.
Oh I try….but every day I get a little more angry about being labeled as ignorant, stupid, racist, etc just because I am not a blind follower. Sometimes I just can’t help myself. Sorry about feeding the intruder!
I understand. They are aggravating and it’s easy to take the bait sometimes. This guy is just your garden variety hater. He lives a miserable little life and thinks it’s your fault.
Meh. I still prefer “Rock You Like A Herman Cain.”
There is none better.
